It was good, but nothing to write home about. The view is what made it taste so good. Haha.

$13!?

Went here last week after a hike to devils bridge. Then came down to shop and eat. After I ate I was craving something sweet. Simply put the sundae that I got was $13 Not worth the size Lack of presentation. Service was uninterested. Waste of money. I saw an ice cream place somewhere else nearby. Should've gone there instead. Just go somewhere else or save your money for a souvenir or get something from the store.

My wife and I enjoyed our afternoon nosh while out exploring Sedona. They are located in a food court location. The flavors are pretty standard. I tasted the Huckleberry which was also good. I was surprised to learn they glue the cone to the wrapping paper and I do hope the glue is an edible glue. That was our only concerned. We could finish the waffle come in light of this toward the end of our nosh.

Hot Fudge Sundae with fruity pebbles! Yum!

My husband and I came to Sedona on our annual road trip. We had a craving for ice cream and we stopped at this location. Here's my opinion on this place: The Ice Cream I got the hot fudge sundae on a Sunday lol and my husband got the Turtle Sundae. They were both delicious and creamy just what we expected it then to be. I'm more of the no frills type so I always get Hot Fudge Sundaes and this one was really good. The Service The staff seemed not so happy, so the service wasn't friendly at all. I know we're not at Disneyland the happiest place on earth but at least try to be a bit more hospitable. The Establishment The place was clean and orderly no complaints there. The Conclusion The ice cream is creamy and delicious, however the staff needs to work on their customer service skills. Make that frown upside down please.

I always stop in for a treat while in Sedona. Their malts and scoops are always good. Prices are on the higher side, but it's Sedona

I was in Sedona one morning in late November. Why would I want a scoop of ice cream so early in the day? Who knows but I had a craving. They also had a peanut butter fudge flavor that caught my eye. The ice cream was fine. There wasn't anything special about it. Although it was an overpriced scoop of ice cream... in the dead of summer, Sabrina's is probably a must stop when you're walking around Sedona. This ice cream shop is part of a food court-like building. If you make your way to the patio in the back, you can get a better view of Snoopy Rock. Don't ask if you don't know... just go and look. I do agree with the crowd here on service. There was only one person in front of me and no one behind me so it wasn't busy at all. Two employees were on duty when I was here ordering my scoop. One of them was on her phone and turned away from me when I stepped up to the counter... ok, weird. The other filled my order of a scoop of peanut butter fudge in a waffle cone. While he did fill my order, it was like I was inconveniencing him through the entire ordeal. It didn't help matters that my waffle cone was cracked. What does an ice cream shop do when a cone is cracked? I've been in dozens of shops where they either start over or put your cone/scoop into another cone. What did this employee do? He wrapped it in a bunch of napkins and in little to no words told me to hope for the best. The last part of my order was asking for peanuts to be sprinkled... (I had to ask twice). If you're in Sedona and need a quick treat, give this place a try or just go to the Starbucks in the same area for an iced drink. Don't expect the service to be 100% here.

Unimpressive and overpriced Mangonada

Overpriced and disappointing. Also wanted to charge me for an empty cup. Came here when other places we wanted to go to were closed. Should have checked reviews first.

Sedona, AZ: one of the ladies in the stores recommended we head over and try the huckleberry ice cream. I'm glad she did. We tried the huckleberry, birthday cake, and espresso n chips ice creams. Sooo good.

Great ice cream and walkable location. A little pricey for a cone of ice cream ($9 I think?) though

The Prickly Pear Colada was the star of the show for me! The combination of pineapple, coconut, and prickly pear syrup was absolutely AMAZING. It was refreshing, flavorful, and a deliciously unique twist on ice cream. Definitely a flavor worth trying! I'm not much of a coffee fan, so I'll let my friend speak for the Mexican Coffee flavor. He described it as unique and worth experiencing. The staff was friendly and offered samples. We used maps for directions which was a bit confusing;it told us to turn left, but the shop was on the right. The shop was cute with seating on the inside and outside. If you're in the area and looking for something a little different from your usual ice cream flavors, Rocky RD Ice Cream is definitely worth a stop. We came curious and left happy.

I ended up choosing the rocky road. It was good overall, with a generous amount of marshmallows and chopped almonds, but the texture was a bit too soft for my liking. The small bits of chopped almonds just added to my dissatisfaction of the texture. While the taste was enjoyable, it wasn't something I'd go out of my way to get again especially since I was treated rudely. Unfortunately, what really turned me off was the service. While I was waiting for my waffle cone, my son was trying a few flavors and really liked one with Butterfinger bits. He asked me to get a sample so I can try how good it is. The young woman helping us (with blondish-red hair) clearly noticed we had already ordered and responded with a rude, dismissive look. She handed me the sample and said, "I need to take care of these other customers," in a tone that made us feel like we were an inconvenience. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. Sampling is a normal part of the experience at ice cream shops, and the interaction felt unwelcoming. Because of that experience, I didn't recommend this place to others in my group, and I wouldn't return. I would have been happier with a soft serve cone at the Sedona McDonald's!

The name of the food truck sounded interesting so we decided to check it out. It was advertised "New Zealand" ice cream so I was curious to understand the relation with the ice cream. Turns out the special machine used for blending vanilla ice cream and the fruit is sourced from the country. They had a good variety of flavors like blueberry, strawberry, mixed berries and bananas. I was feeling strawberry and decided to try it out. I got the mini cup because I didn't want a whole lot of ice cream. The ice cream was ready in no time. It looked light pink with some bits of strawberry in it. I couldn't wait to dig in! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. I liked how it was not overly heavy but tasty. I wished it had more strawberry in it, the last few spoons of ice cream tasted more of vanilla. However, it was good quality ice cream. If you are looking for ice cream around the area, look no further! It is a bit pricey for the quantity, each topping is an added charge, but for a small snack, it's a pretty good option!

Visiting Sedona is magical in itself, but discovering ChocolaTree Organic Vegetarian Eatery, a…read morecharming little restaurant tucked away in the desert that makes you feel as though you've entered an enchanted forest, is pure paradise! A friend from New Jersey (and I'm from California!) recommended this hidden gem, and when a lovely woman named Navi from A Nu Key Tours picked me up in her Jeep, we were off on an adventure! Navi asked where I wanted to go, and I excitedly told her about ChocolaTree. During our conversation, I asked if she had eaten. She said yes. Then I asked, "Have you ever tried vegan food?" She replied, "Not really." That's when I had an idea! I asked if she would be comfortable joining me at the restaurant. She sweetly agreed, although she mentioned that she would probably just have some tea. Little did she know, I was already thinking this might be the perfect opportunity to introduce her to the wonderful world of vegan cuisine! But neither of us could have anticipated what was awaiting us. The moment you drive up to ChocolaTree, you feel as though you're entering an enchanted forest. Surrounded by lush greenery, it's almost impossible to believe you're still in the middle of the Sedona desert. With every step, you feel as though you're wandering deeper into the woods, leaving the outside world behind and discovering a magical little paradise hidden among the trees. There's something so special about finding a place that feels completely removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The contrast between Sedona's magnificent red rocks and this lush, peaceful sanctuary is breathtaking. We decided to turn our visit into a little culinary adventure of its own! I ordered the Green Goddess Salad and the Vegan Pesto Margherita, and what a delightful experience it was to share these dishes with Navi. Every bite seemed to add a little more love to our hearts and a little more sparkle to our eyes. It was one of those beautiful moments when food becomes more than nourishment. It becomes an experience that brings people together. And just when we thought the afternoon couldn't get any sweeter, we finished with two little pieces of chocolate that practically melted in our mouths. Oh, what a heavenly way to end our meal! Sometimes the smallest bites leave the biggest impressions. And to think, what began as a simple ride to a restaurant turned into an unexpected adventure with a lovely new friend, delicious food, and a magical setting that made the day unforgettable. Sometimes the most magical moments happen when we least expect them. Sedona reminded me once again that paradise isn't always a destination. Sometimes it's an experience, a connection, and the beautiful surprises waiting just around the corner. ChocolaTree, thank you for creating a little piece of paradise in the desert.
