It is challenging to find coffee around 3 pm in Sedona that is not Starbucks. We found Living Chocolate and with a little creativity it worked. My husband had the Afternoon Loft on ice with a touch of chocolate and I had the Ecuador Creamy Cacaoffee on ice. Both were amazing in flavor, not too sweet and pleasurable to sip on. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shop is small but plenty of options to satisfy your chocolate craving. Pricey for coffee though.

Popped in because I was intrigued at the healthy drink and treat options (no cane sugar in anything). We had the thick hot chocolate and snickers. Both were amazing. What a nice surprise to find quality, yummy treats that are also healthy. This will be one of our new go tos in Sedona!

Chocolate pb heart after I took a bite

Service was friendly. Gorgeous chocolates in display case, NO prices displayed. I asked the staff what the prices are, she responded "The prices are in my head." Then points to a round chocolate smaller than a golf ball, "These are $4.25 and prices go up from there." I purchased one chocolate PB heart about the size of a Reeces peanut butter cup, I think it was $6...I am sure it was made with quality ingredients. However the taste was average and I will not return here. There was another beautiful creation called snickers and was the size if a small brownie. She told me it was $11 for one. Seems unprofessional to not show prices and then charge exorbitant price for 1 small piece.

This was such a quaint little chocolate shop with a very interesting shop owner. It seems to be a place with products that focused on wellness and natural healing. The shop owner (?) was very interesting and kind. They had an impressive display case of chocolates and a very unique beverages menu. My friend got one of their specialty chocolate truffles and I was craving a cold drink. Really enjoyed my very unique tasting ice chaga chai, a tea made of mushroom extract with rosemary and ginger honey.

This spot is a must visit if in Sedona. We don't go out of our way to find chocolate without white sugar, but after this experience, I will seek more local chocolate stores and brands that are zero white sugar. Every variety we bought was amazing. My favorite was the dark chocolate with pomegranate. We were also offered free samples of the peanut butter. I should have bought it!!! Love the coziness of the store and seeing all it has to offer on the walls and on display.

This unique spot of chocolate indulgence uses honey as their natural sweetener. Lovely, just lovely. They were patient and helpful in selecting the perfect pieces of chocolate and the ideal beverage. I chose the ceremonial (yummy) and my husband, the Ecuadorian creamy cacaoffee with almond milk, honey, espresso and coconut cream. This was my first time to experience such a delightful beverage con cacao! The confections had unique ingredients, to me. White with cardamom, clove and cinnamon (Christmas treat). This was a wonderful experience we will never forget in Sedona

Balsamic truffle and thick hot chocolate are absolutely delicious! The lady at the counter in this cute chocolate "museum" cafe is very welcoming. Don't miss this cool spot if you're in the area. If you are looking for the usual super sweet no frills chocolate taste, don't waste your time and money here - Safeway is just around the corner.

I live for chocolate! Living Chocolate is a wonderful shop in Sedona that specializes in all things chocolate, so of course we had to make our way here when we saw it while driving around town. It was the perfect treat post-hike. Living Chocolate is located along a major highway in Sedona and is situated in one of the many business strips around. We spotted it while driving to a trailhead from our lodging, so made a plan to check it out afterwards. We visited in the late afternoon on a Monday and the owner warmly greeted us. Although it's a small shop with just a few seats, it was a welcoming atmosphere. Living Chocolate had several different chocolate truffles in the display case, as well as chocolate goods for purchase, like bars, cacao beans, etc. They also had a drink menu, featuring many chocolate-y beverages and beyond. My partner ordered a classic drinking chocolate while I had an elixir, made with electrolytes and pomegranate. We also shared three truffles: turmeric pepper, dark chocolate nibs and espresso. All of our treats were delicious - and most importantly, we could easily tell the chocolate was made with simple, high-quality ingredients. In fact, I love that they do not use cane sugar here to sweeten the products; they use honey, which has a more natural taste and is better for you. I highly recommend visiting Living Chocolate if you're a chocoholic in Sedona. It's a wonderful business that sources cacao beans from many parts of the world, ensuring that what you're getting here is only the best, quality chocolate found. I wish there was a business like this around where I'm from.

This is my go to morning drink!

Living Chocolate in Sedona, Arizona is an absolute gem for all chocolate lovers! As someone who understands the medicinal values of raw chocolate and its superior antioxidant content, I can confidently say that this store is a haven for those seeking decadent and healthy treats. Personally, I am a huge fan of their Belize cacao paste, which I use to make my morning drink. Whisking it with a touch of honey or coconut sugar and adding my own adaptogens like Mucuna root , Maca or ashwaganda creates an energy drink that surpasses anything you can buy elsewhere. Not to mention, it is absolutely nutritious and delicious! One thing I highly recommend is trying their version of a snicker bar. It is packed with superfoods and contains nothing harmful for your body. It's a guilt-free indulgence that you won't regret. I feel for the prior persons post they do not understand this is HEATHY. chocolate not the sugar processed junk in a store... rather a super food! If you're visiting Sedona, Living Chocolate is a must-visit place. Their selection of raw chocolates and treats will leave you in awe. Trust me, you won't want to leave without trying their amazing creations. Highly, highly recommended!

Soma formula, I loved having in my ceremonial cacao.
Joy D.

It was an amazing experience overall. From getting delicious chocolate pieces from their vast selection, and the ceremonial cacao drink itself. Thomas was more than a server but a great host of that small, cozy and beautiful cafe style chocolatery. His recommendation for add ons on my drink was spot on, that soma blend is magic. They have a small chocolate market inside worth getting more great cacao. The owner is such a gem, she opened 45 min earlier so I could get another ceremonial cacao to go at my departure day from Sedona - well I was lucky she was already at the store! I would have taken more pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the experience there.

After having visited, I can definitely say that Sedonuts is in fact a can't-miss spot on your trip…read more I ordered the cookie monster donut and a regular drip coffee. While I hesitate to agree with any establishment that talks about having the best coffee because of that one scene in Elf, I can agree that it is good. And one donut was certainly not enough, but I was worried about how those would last in the heat and in my car. In retrospect, I wish I had listened to the voice in the back of my head telling me to get two. Learn from my mistake and indulge the whim. I was worried about a long line, but I came at around 0900 on a Sunday and waited in a very short, fast-moving line. A large part of that is pretty exceptional service, who didn't point to the big sign that answered one of the questions I asked. The inside is quite small, and there's limited seating indoors and outdoors. I really can't say enough good things about Sedonuts, and look forward to being back on my next trip.

We made sure to arrive early and pick up on our way to the Grand Canyon. Around 730am ish their supply was excellent - they had lots of classics and specials as well with catchy names : D We opted for a few classics and my fave - the Apple fritter. I like to taste test everywhere we visit. My first impression- thin and crispy with a sugar glaze on top. First bite- I loved the thin and crispy outer texture , tasted the sugar glaze and cinnamon, but where were the apple pieces or chunks? A little disappointing. Maple was good. They sell their own brand merchandise and hot/cold drinks. There are a few tables to sit at inside and outside. Located in a small strip mall, parking was ample.

Aside from the tea, they also sold all kinds of goodies--from traditional dresses to books to little trinkets--which I later found out that 70% of the products they sold here were handmade by their rural women & men. There was just so much to explore that my eyes and my heart were full and I haven't even had their teas yet. Another couple of things I found out later on while I indulged myself in more chai than I probably should have and scrolled through their website: (1) half of their profit goes to support women and children in Pakistan, and (2) this place is a "social-enterprise dedicated to peace-building and socio-economic empowerment of women and children in Pakistan." With that, truly, my heart and my belly could not be fuller and I'm so glad I made a point to visit this place at Tlaquepaque! There were some tables and chairs, as well as area rugs where groups sat crisscross applesauce, outside the store on the terrace since they're located on the second floor. They also had a few of these super charming balconies you can hang out and sip your drink at. If you're not in a rush, I think staying and having your tea there completes the whole experience. What we tried: Butter Chai - 5/5 Traditional Cardamom -4/5 Iced Black - 4/5 From the three drinks we got, my ultimate favorite was the Butter Chai. Apparently, they don't consider this as their best seller, but I have seen so many people rave about this particular drink and I couldn't be happier that I went for it. It was the perfect symphony of sweet and creamy with the spices not being too overwhelming. I didn't know that it came with some toppings of crushed pistachios too, but they make sure to ask if you're okay with that when you order. Overall, this one's quite a special place. If you get a chance to stroll around the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village, I highly recommend you stop by here!

(Please look at my photo of the sad leftovers). We had written down all of the suggestions of things to do in Sedona and Elote Cafe was at the top of our list of things to do. Apparently getting a reservation at this place is super difficult to get, so we decided to order takeout. Elote dip, pork cheeks, green tamale, carne asada, pork belly tacos and corn cake for dessert. The elote dip was enjoyable especially when eaten with chips, the green tamale was better off used as a trampoline at a kids party (it was spongy, flavorless and possibly good to scrub your dishes), the carne asada was dead like the cow it came from and flavorless, the pork belly tacos were barely edible because of the overwhelming sour taste of lemon, and last but least was the corn cake, it was dry and about as exciting as a retirement home party. We wasted our money thinking that a place with a waiting list to get on would be an experience just like everything else we experienced in Sedona but instead Elote Cafe is a bad tourist trap that has as much charm and taste as Del Taco. Save your money and look elsewhere for some great Mexican inspired food even if it means you need to travel to Tucson.
