$26 for 1 margarita!!!…read more I've enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past, so I was really disappointed by my most recent experience. I ordered a Casamigos margaritas, something I've ordered here many times before for $16. When the bill came, I was shocked to see I'd been charged $26 for one margarita--the full $12 margarita price plus an additional $14 for Casamigos. I completely understand an upcharge for premium tequila, and I expected one. What I did not expect was to essentially be charged for both a margarita and a separate full-priced shot. Most importantly, our server never mentioned that choosing Casamigos would bring the price of a single margarita to $26. When I questioned the charge, the restaurant would not adjust it and instead offered a 5% discount, which unfortunately didn't feel like a meaningful resolution. Out of curiosity, I called two other Mexican restaurants in town, Teocalli and Verde, and both quoted me $16 for a Casamigos margarita. I'm sharing this mainly as a heads-up to other customers: if you request a specific tequila in your margarita, I strongly recommend asking exactly what the final drink price will be before ordering. A $26 margarita without any warning was a very unpleasant surprise. It felt shady, and I won't be returning.
