We split the chips and dip trio and we loved all three dips - queso, guacamole, and salsa. We also had nachos, elote, and a variety of tacos and it was all delicious! He kept bringing us different hot sauces from the back to try and we enjoyed all of them. It's very simple inside, but it's clean and the food is delicious.

The environment and ambiance are exactly what you want out of a classic hole in the wall neighborhood spot. It is a small and unpretentious place with just a few tables, keeping the focus entirely on the kitchen. The family run service is warm and efficient, making you feel welcome the second you walk through the door of this hidden gem plaza spot. Overall, the food here is great Mexican food that tastes completely homemade. Everything is packed with rich flavor, especially if you venture into their street tacos or namesake huaraches, and pair them with their incredible house salsas. Their tostadas are also nothing but a thing, being crispy, perfectly layered, and absolutely spot on. It is easily some of the best food in the area, and the highly reasonable prices keep it a regular favorite.

The obligatory chips and salsa were very good and we ordered the queso which was also very good. Then the main course food arrived. The only saving grace was that the rice and black beans were very tasty and not spicy. I ordered the number 3 combination. The beef hard taco was good, however the enchiladas were so spicy that I couldn't eat them. Some type of terrible green sauce made them so hot I almost gagged. Tex mex should be spiced after serving, in my opinion, not during cooking. Traditional Mexican food is not super hot. This was so spicy it burned my throat and I sent them back after powering through.
