Taco Tuesday! Yes! Our only mistake was ordering only 1 of each lol. Cute authentic hole in the wall, and they grill outside , freshly hand made tortillas that are to die for, and meats were solid. The tortilla is really what makes it, though. My picky 2 year old kept crying for more tacos once we were done eating them all lol. Awesome spot, we'll likely be back next Tuesday! Glad to see they finally reopened!! I stopped by to check it out today and got some carne asada fries . The food was fast out the kitchen and the ambiance was chill family spot. Just fyi the portions for the asada fries is enough for one person not multiple so good luck sharing. The price reflects that its alot cheaper then most taco shops . Excellent experience! We used Sabor's catering service for a backyard party and it was even better than we'd hoped. We did the basic package - no substitutions- w pastor, chicken and steak, rice, beans, condiments and Jamaica. They had the pastor on the "spit" and the woman made the tortillas on the spot, neither of which I noticed in reviews or their site. They were a few minutes late and that's the worst I can think of- they set up quickly and efficient, had a large pop up for shade, were easy to work with and everything was very tasty and enjoyed by all and we had plenty of leftovers! This is my local taco shop, I come by almost weekly. Its a family owned restaurant and everyone is always so friendly. They have .99 mini tacos Tuesday thru Thursday. I'm pretty sure they make the tortillas they use for the minis from scratch. They are so soft and yummy! Their meats are well seasoned, tender and juicy. This review is for their catering service only . I have not dined at the restaurant yet , but now that I had the pleasure of eating their tacos at a work event I will be checking them out . Today the company I work for threw us hard, loyal workers a very nice party . This party including Sabor's catering the event . Sabor cooked tacos for over 300 people for 2 hours and every single one of us were very happy with their tacos , beans , rice , horchata and another drink . I was extremely impressed with how hard they worked and how DELICIOUS their tacos are . They served carne asada, pollo Asada and al pastor tacos . They made the corn tortillas right there fresh and perfect ! I didn't pick the pollo. I went with carne and al pastor . The carne was magnificent, their flavor and quality was the best I've eaten from a taqueria. And I've never had al pastor from a taqueria. They had the spot right there . Omg it's bomb !!!! So I came in the other night and I walked in and waited about five minutes before a young came from the back. As I was ordering my food there was a bowl of something on the counter that someone had left there. It was on a tray so I guess a customer didn't feel like throwing it away themselves. Stopped in for lunch as this mom & pop taco shop is conveniently located in the laundromat strip mall next to the Smart & Final. I just feel like talking about their hot sauce. I liked that green hot sauce. They had a mild green sauce and a medium red sauce (that was more mild IMO), but the other green hot sauce had kick. It was a mellow heat that builds up after each bite, and I just wanted to keep eating more of it on everything. Mom said it was too spicy for her. Topped with guac, which was the perfect combo. Fish taco ($3): DELISH!!! It's only one piece of fish, but it's a pretty large piece. Put some lime on it and it's perfect! The right amount of batter and crunch. Shrimp taco ($4): I didn't care for it. I tried a sip of the horchata, which is their special blend with coconut. Don't waste your money. I don't know why this place got so many good reviews. The reviews are what brought us here but we're definitely never going back. We ordered the California burrito and 5 beef rolled tacos totaling $12. The burrito was almost inedible. My boyfriend and I shared it and he spit out his first bite and went on to eat the rolled tacos, which were "ok" at best. I ate about half the burrito just because I didn't want to feel like I totally wasted my money. We threw out 2 of the rolled tacos and the other half of the burrito and ate cereal for dinner. I literally just finished my food and couldn't wait to tell everyone about this little hidden place. Hold on- I just had the BEST CARNE ASADA BURRITO of my life. The meat was fresh, juicy & succulent. The seasonings were outstanding. The fresh pico and cilantro were amazing. The mix was just right for me, not too much to distract from the meat-just an enhancement. The red salsa was hot, but addictive. The price? Under $6!!!! It wasn't the giant size, but perfect for me. The food was cooked and displayed so beautifully and they were making homemade corn tortillas as you ordered. Generous portions that were so flavorful that I was just blown away. Found this place thanks to yelp!!!!! Called Carlos to set up catering and boy he hit it out of the park. All my guest were raving about the food. They do straight up TJ style tacos with the pork on the stick cooking as its turning. Other caterers wanted double what he was charging. 10 per person and i can choose as many meats as I wanted. Other places just do 2 and charge more per person each additional meat you wanted. I went with carne, adobado, chicken, and fish. The only one I didn't really like that much was the fish but everything else was amazing. 2 people came and one cooked meat while the other made fresh tortillas. It was so much better than having to worry about cooking. Just hire these guys and you will be happy. I was so impressed I used them again the next week for another party I was having. read more

Endlessly waiting, I kept busy by stuffing marinated carrots in my face. The salsa bar was neglected and unattended. It almost left my belief in tacos suspended. After 35 minutes, I finally got my food, but the wait really put me in a cantankerous mood. Many people were waiting and hungry to eat. Sabor is a great name for this place cuz they got so much Flava Flav! I gotta give em 5. The wifey and I saw this place driving back to the new pad the other day. In particular, we noticed the .99 cent taco tuesday signage. It being tuesday and all, the wifey surprised me with some tacos from here. Actually one carne asada taco (.99) two fish tacos (about 1.79 each) and one buche mulita (2.50). I really tried to criticize this place, but failed in every attempt. The carne asada taco was very, very good! It is very rare to find a place that has legit carne asada in my opinion, but this was def one of them. The carne was cut very thin, but not dried it. it was very flavorful and had just the right amount of smokey, grill flavor. Fab! The Buche was the one item that I could identify a flaw with. It was very good, tender, and lightly smokey. However, it needed a bit more seasoning, so it was a little bland. The Mulita was good though. The fish tacos were very good, but somewhat different. They were fried pretty crispy, could have been a little more maybe, but they were fine the way they were. They had a good amount of fish in them, cabbage, tomato, and the white sauce was spiced up with some chipotle seasoning. Nice touch. I gotta say, I was impressed. All of this complimented by the fact that the salsa was the bomb and they hand-make their tortillas. The roja was delicious as usually and they roasted the chilis. The verde was very good as well, which I have found to be rare, but it was flavorful and actually had some heat to it. The tortillas were very good as well, which I def appreciate. The only thing I would've done differently is try more of their tacos, but the day is still young, so maybe I'll head back over as soon as I get my second wind. It's nice to know that there are so many good mexican places within a mile of our house. WOW! This little taco shop definitely delivers with BIG flavor! Hence the name! I really enjoyed my 3 carne asada street tacos and my battered fish taco. The street tacos came with a very fresh and delicious corn tortilla, well marinated meat, onions and cilantro as well as an avocado sauce. These tacos are on par with the street tacos in Tijuana. One of those mom and pop shops that is owned by a really sweet family. The lady that always rings us up barely speaks English, but she can understand my broken spanish so that works for me! :) I love the carne asada tacos, the meat is cook a little burnt with a little bit of fat that is well seasoned. In my opinion, that is the best combination!! My younger brother loves their carne asada fries, and I think that if we didn't always tease him, he would actually finish 2 orders in one sitting. The green guacamole flavored sauce that they have is absolutely phenomenal. If they sold that in bottles, I would totally buy it. The fish tacos (breaded and grilled) are also amazing. Mulitas-I had it made out of tripas which was great in taste but it was the smallest/thinnest mulita I've ever had in my life. Tacos-I had the "Al Pastor" tacos and the lady told the cook "Adobada" then she said they were the same well let me tell you they are close but not the same. In the end, I got good tacos that were neither al pastor or adobada. The tacos were made out of unseasoned pork. Tamale-I had their pork tamale. It was overtly salty and moist with a ton of salsa...not homemade. I don't think I will be getting tamales from them. Agua de Horchata- Was ok nothing special. I have eaten here before and that was before Yelp existed. I decided to attempt to give them another try today just because I was shopping next door and it was convenient. Let me start with the positive things. The people who work here are really nice people and the place itself is very clean and cozy. Their salsa station is really clean and their Salas's are very good especially their Jalapeno one which is nice and thick along with a savory spice that is just amazing. I ordered the number 8 which was a grilled bass combo topped with sauce or a salsa and we also ordered a Carne Asada burrito still in search for the best Carne Asada. After ordering we waited for our food which really did not take too long considering we ordered an item that is not normal (the fish). We took the food to go. Once we got home I took pictures of the food and we began what we thought would be a feast. The fish was old and rubbery and I now know why they added all of the sauce on to my plate as it also had no taste and needed to be covered in it. The Carne Asada burrito was dry and the meat was so over cooked that there were Carne Asada rocks through out the whole thing. The rice was old as if it had been sitting there for a while if not from the day before and I actually had to add salt to the beans. What a complete let down. The best thing here for me were the limes and the radishes from their amazing salsa bar. This is one of the best taco shops ever I have through so many ever disincentive I got off the street and got a good job and new car. This place is not spicy they tell what's hot or mild and the sauce is so good I tried a couple places and was like hell no ha this is better than roseritos. The meat sauces are seasoned and so flavorful my usual is Cali and the surf and turf or machaca burrito. I always come in and tip but I never rate it so I now I'm rating it ha. But this is a place you want to go they make the food with passion rather than fast and for money. And they close on sundays ha I like that. read more
