Anyhoo, maybe I didn't eat enough to absorb all the Pisco shots? (nah, portion sizes are so generous!) or maybe shots just ruin me? maybe I'm getting old! (waaaah)
No matter what you order at Sabor Latino, you should always start with a classic appetizer such as the Papa ala huancaina, which is a plate of boiled potatoes with a spicy yellow Peruvian chili sauce or the yucca frita, which is basically very very large cuts of steak fries. Everyone had the carne a la parillam for their entrees, which had medium rare Argentinian steak with beautiful symmetrical grill marks on the meat. It's not the most melt in your mouth steak you'll ever have nor will it be the best cut of steak your mouth will come into contact with, but the flavors are there and juiciness shows in every bite.
