I tiki ramen taco bar... and it somehow works!…read more I've been here many times. I like the tacos, my wife likes the ramen, and we both like the drinks. I like that the menu is constantly changing, so I can always try something new. There are usually a few staples, too. The tacos are priced reasonably so you can try several flavors. Every now and then there's one I don't like as much as the others, but that doesn't ruin the experience. The ramen is priced well for the amount you get, too. The only thing I consistently haven't liked is their guacamole. But I do like their avocado and salsas. They have a decent happy hour and, recently added, a "taco Tuesday." The kids menu options are pretty good, too. The hot dogs are a hit. Sometimes the buttered noodles are, too. The tiki drinks are great fun, and they're always trying something new. In the past, they've put lemonades in fun cups (like the hedgehog cup) so our kids can enjoy a "fancy drink." The service is pretty fast and consistent. They bring you a nice jug of water to help yourself with refills.

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.

Our server was very busy but took care of Us. We ordered the. Carne Asada plate & a chili Rellanos ala carne. We were so happy. The Carne Asada was tender and flavorful. The rice and beans that came with it were delicious and generous. I loved the charbroiled jalapeño and pico de gallo that was included. Tortillas were nice warm and soft. We had a couple of house margaritas, which were delicious. Definitely would come back to this place again and again thank you

This time, lady is kind enough to remove coleslaw (it's spicy) in my own opinion, I don't like it, especially mixed into my food. Cost of an enchilada is $16.02. In some pictures online, it's shown with tomatoes, lettuce & sour cream, but noticed when ordering, below it says, you've to pay extra for tomatoes $1.00; lettuce $1.03; and sour cream $1.55. Lady on phone is kind enough to make an inquiry (it's not an option) to exchange coleslaw for lettuce, In the end, I paid for tomatoes $1.00, exchanged Cole slaw for lettuce and no sour cream, subtotal $17.02; added taxes & fees, equals $21.06. It's been lengthy time since we've returned. After, my last review, I'd place orders & it would be intentionally made spicy, added coleslaw (even mixed into) enchiladas. And, someone would ensure my meal wasn't to my liking and left me unable to consume. However, it's been some years ago, soon after their opening and they're aware, I don't eat spicy foods. I'm disabled, stuck to home & my husband is my sole caregiver. He doesn't cook, did his best to provide, which means utilizing what surrounds us. Considering where we live, we're limited to, authentic Mexican food that's easily accessible to our home. Again, I think, some years back, we ate once inside the establishment. I can't comment on ambience, it's to-go orders for us.

At least on this day, at this time. Chad and I got to the restaurant around 1:15 PM yesterday. There weren't many people at the establishment, maybe one other party inside and one outside. We were greeted fairly quickly and were seated by a lovely woman. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions about the menu, and was quick to give recommendations. We started with chips and salsa, and I ordered a Skinny Margarita. Yes, it's a little out of the ordinary to charge for chips and salsa, but I thought both were amazing. The salsa was fresh and really tasty (and tasted nothing like ketchup, which I despise). I've had a lot of horrible salsas; this was not horrible at all, and neither were the chips, crunchy and delicious, imo. The skinny margarita, which was $14, was huge and actually worth the cost. The lovely waitress gave me the Happy Hour cost of the margarita ($10) since we were paying right about when HH started (2 PM). Chad noticed that they had a Cheese Crispi (or just Cheese Crisp as we AZ folks like to call it), but we were pretty hungry and really just wanted meals. I got the Vegetarian Burrito and asked that it be smothered with the sour cream cheese sauce that I saw on another vegetarian dish, the Chimichanga de Hongos. I'm sure I put on a few pounds from that sauce alone, and it was 100% worth it! The entire dish was SO GOOD! Chad got the Expresso Burrito and couldn't even finish the whole thing, not for want of trying, though. I don't know if we had the good luck to come at a good/slow time, and that's why we had such a wonderful experience, but I almost felt like I was at a totally different restaurant than the one being reviewed here. When we are in the area again, Chad and I will definitely be visiting Fuego Azteca again and trying out the Cheese Crispi and the Deep Fried Ice Cream!
