So I now stick to the routine and buy a quality plant from Agua Fria! Of course, I tell myself to stay focused and just look in the tomato greenhouse. But the nursery is full of temptations down every row and section. I ended up with four varieties of tomatoes, two varieties of cucumbers, leeks, and a mesa red blanket flower. I only stopped because my friend has a small hatchback and the space was limited. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. I have found that the plants I buy from Agua Fria are healthy and productive and great value in the long run of our short and unpredictable growing season.

While they were trying to correct this I ended up being double charged. It took about twenty minutes and three tries to get this corrected. Then she had the audacity to tell me the whole mess was my fault! She snapped at me and at the other employee who was trying to help, then threw up her hands and stomped away. I don't think I have ever seen anyone turn a simple transaction into such a mess so quickly. Whoever this young woman is, she is losing this establishment customers. PIcked them up yesterday and was shocked that in the pot was basically one tiny brown stick and a few tiny leaves. Felt very ripped off. They require advance ordering/paying. If I had seen what I was getting before paying, I never would have gone with them. I will go to other nurseries in the future and get more established plants for a much better price.
