The heart of the front office is undoubtedly Trinh. She has been there as long as I can remember, and she is truly a blessing to the practice. Trinh is incredibly hardworking, cheerful, relatable and caring. She goes above and beyond to be accommodating with my scheduling needs, which I appreciate more than words can say. I haven't traveled outside of country for 16 years and have zero symptoms of TB, no cough, no fever, no strange symptoms or sickness now or recently. I don't need an exam to determine if I have traveled outside of country or have been sick with specific TB symptoms let alone any other sickness. I was told I had a sinus infection and was advised to drink a lot of water. After following this advice, the next day at work I suddenly became extremely weak and experienced blurry vision. My husband took me to the emergency room instead of returning to her clinic. Blood tests were done immediately, and I was admitted to the ICU due to hyponatremia (low sodium levels in my blood). The hospital staff told me the timing was critical and that they saved my life. This happened seven years ago. I'm sharing my experience now so others can be aware and advocate for themselves if their symptoms persist or worsen.
