This repair shop is a quality business. Professional and courteous guys. I drive Saabs and thanks to them, I'm still happily on the road with my cars. As far as cost, nothing is cheap anymore but the quality work that is done makes it worth it. read more

Raffi is one of the foremost experts on Saabs in SoCal. He has a hugely busy shop so definitely call ahead to make sure he has time to work on your vehicle, he doesn't like it when you show up at the last minute. He knows how to find parts all over the world and if something can be fixed, he'll do it. Sometimes he gets stressed out so you have to ask him nicely to address certain things (like the ABS breaking system on a Saab 9000 hahaha). He's a cool guy and he loved his customers. read more

LADIES!! This spot is for us, I came to the shop alone and as a girl with no knowledge of cars it can be scary going to a mechanic alone. You never know if they're going to rip you off, tell you the wrong thing, overcharge etc. I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS PLACE IS NOT THAT. They took care of me IMMEDIATELY, figured out the problem which was my tire popped internally, I thought it was a way more serious problem, they replaced my tire no charged because it was my own spare. They had offered to order a new tire I let them know I go through Costco and they said "absolutely Costcos great" not even trying to get me to buy something from them, no pressure just smart kind men helping me. What an amazing experience at Saab & Raffi! I'm now a forever customer! 1000000/10 service !! read more

Best experience and service ever!! A true high quality mechanic shop in the city that I know I can always rely on.

Quoted one price on the phone, then charged more in person. I was told around $200, but the final price before tax was $230.86 for a basic oil and filter change on my 2016 Mercedes C300. That is very high for a routine service. I understand that Mercedes-spec full synthetic oil costs more and that shops mark up parts, but $15 per quart is still high even for full synthetic oil. Charging that plus a full hour of labor at the top end, which was $100, pushed the total well above what I was expecting for a basic oil change. My bigger issue is that the final price did not line up with what I was told beforehand. If the real total is going to be higher, that should be made clear upfront. read more

I've taken my 2008 Audi A4 to SAAB & RAFFI twice now, and both times Raffi diagnosed issues that other mechanics either overlooked or completely misdiagnosed. That alone says a lot. What I really appreciate is that Raffi takes the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. He doesn't just throw parts at a problem -- he makes smart, thoughtful decisions and approaches the work with real integrity. Finding a mechanic you genuinely trust is rare, and Raffi has absolutely earned that trust. Honest, knowledgeable, ethical, and incredibly good at what he does. You really can't ask for a better mechanic. read more

Saab & Raffi - my Porsche here 3 months ago and Raffi has been taking good care of me since then and now I have my bmw X3 and 535i GT in his hands too - Auto Repair Near Me - Los Angeles, California

They had painted my car and there were paint all over the rims and steering wheel of my car. I thought washing it would get it off, but it's still there. I don't live in the area so I don't have time to bother going back. Probably got charged more for what I did since I'm a female, but whatever. read more

I've been using Saab & Raffi to service my girlfriend's car since July of 2024. I'm a resident of Hollywood and happy to have found a Saab mechanic that I trust and does fantastic work. My GF's vehicle was in need of some crucial repairs. We were worried that the we were going to have to get rid her SAAB all together and find a replacement. Fortunately, all was not lost and Raffi was able to diagnose and do the repairs at a fair price. I'm really happy with the work. Her SAAB is a 2009 A4 with 150k. I'm looking to get another 150k and 10 more years out of it now. Thank you Raffi. read more

Amazing owner! Did a great job on working on what I needed done for my car, completely straight to the point. Didn't try to fix things that didnt need to be fixed compared to other auto mechanics. Really grateful! Totally gonna come back if I need to! read more

Great service, very fair pricing. Raffi was honest about what service I needed now and what I could wait on. He's my new guy to handle my Bmw. Anybody who tells you that you can edit a little longer on certain things makes me believe they aren't just trying to get your money fast. Oh and it's a nice outside waiting area compared to what most auto repair places have. read more

If your car needs service, please look no further and go to Raffi! He is incredibly approachable and transparent about what work needs to be done, and his prices are really fair. My Subaru clutch needed some work, and he really showed me what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. He's been doing this for awhile and knows what he's doing, so please go to his shop! Raffi knows what he's doing and it shows. And ladies, I know I shouldn't have to say this, but we know sometimes mechanics will treat us like we know nothing and take advantage. There's NONE of that here! read more

My BMW was hit by a gate at my apartment complex leaving a scratch and also taking my drivers side mirror off. Being new to the LA area, I was skeptical as to where I could find a reliable mechanic. I am new to LA and needed a shop to work on my Audi R8 and I found Saab & Raffi on Yelp and could not be happier with the service I received. He (Raffi) was friendly and informative and the general service (oil/filter change) and small repair (upshift paddle) went well and the cost was very reasonable. I don't let just anyone work on my car and I'd recommend Raffi and his team for your repair needs. read more

These guys are freaking great. I had a tire and light issue with my car. I could tell they were busy but the people there were very friendly and took time out to fix my issues without any hassle. I have a 1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. Saab & Raffi worked on repairing a bad crankshaft pulley and non-working air conditioning system. The A/C compressor was replaced along with the refrigerant discharge and suction hose assembly. I went back later to Raffi with some additional issues on the A/C system, Raffi made it right and was very helpful, fast, courteous, and professional about the matter. A/C system on the Convertible is working perfect now just in time for summer. Raffi is also knowledgeable and straightforward answering questions about routine maintenance and complexities of owning a nearly 30 year old Saab. I just purchased a 1990 Saab 900 S Hatchback and trust Saab & Raffi to help me work through and solve some repair issues. Highly recommend Saab & Raff for any Saab repairs and maintenance. -Kristofer read more

By far the best experience I have ever had in my life with a mechanic and body shop. I have always worried about being taken advantage of when it come to car repairs. Not with this shop. I highly recommend this place. Very experience very helpful very kind Raffi. It's an amazing guy and a very, very, very good mechanic.

Raffi is the man. Saab is the beast. Saab and Raffi is an institution. 5 stars all around because I am particular with the tin can on wheels that I use to move me around. This team is the way to go if you have a car that you care for and want to maintain. With the 5 star rating, I'd like to say, they are busy for a reason, so knowing what you want (or having a pen and paper when you don't) is key. Do us all a favor and take care of your vehicle. Raffi and his team will shoot you straight while you do it. I have been taking my 2006 Saab 9-5 Aero to this shop for about 4 years. I have had everything worked on from a regular oil change, to body work, to some light engine/drive train work. One good example of my experience was just this last summer. The A/C wasn't working so well, so I took the car in and left it over night. Raffi and his team assessed the situation and noticed that Freon was needed, but the bigger issue was that the fan inside the dash wasn't working properly and thus, not blowing the cold air into the cabin - at least not well. Rather than proceed with this (quite expensive!) fix to the fan, Raffi called me personally and informed me of the situation so that I could make an informed decision. This is just one example of the professionalism and transparency that I have come to expect and cherish about this team of mechanics. That being said, the two times (over FOUR years, mind you) that there has been a mistake (forgetting to replace the hood struts on one occasion, and slightly overtightening the oil pan drain gasket on the other), Saab and Raffi made it right, and right away. 12/10 would recommend them for any vehicle needs, but especially Saabs and other euro-centric makes. Thanks Raffi and team! read more

As a single women living alone in Hollywood, and simply as a citizen - I'm compelled to say THANK YOU. Not only is Raffi one of the most PROFESSIONAL and HONEST mechanics in the area, he is also a gentleman and a scholar. My driver's side mirror was knocked off by a hit and run, and my stupid insurance sent me to Caliber Collision to get scammed and pay $1500 out of pocket - instead, I went to Raffi's who treated me with dignity and respect, charging me only $75. (I bought the replacement mirror from Toyota online, previously) and he turned it around in less than an hour. The waiting room/office is very comfortable and when you're here, you're treated like FAMILY. Thank you Raffi, I am excited to come back for your services! 10/10 would do again and again, and will recommend to ALL my friends. -A read more

Never have I had a better car mechanic experience than with Raffi, he has so much integrity and is such a genuinely nice guy. He's done a few minor repairs on my 2005 9-3 and today when he helped me with my convertible top, it was such an easy fix that he didn't even charge me, even after I offered to pay. Seriously the nicest guy, I will be bringing my car back here for as long as I have it. It's hard to find Saab mechanics these days at all, and not only does Raffi do great work but he has always helped me in an extremely timely manner where I'm not sitting around for hours or waiting weeks for an appointment. I was in search for a Saab 900 Turbo,(A flat nose), I looked and looked and it occurred to me, why not call the Saab Mechanic down the street and see if he has any leads. Well he did, he connected me with a seller and just like that my search was over. Not only did I find my dream car, But he was also able locate a 1984 Saab 900 Turbo in excellent condition with less that 90K miles. Once the transaction was complete, Raffi was able to get my new acquisition in working order. Lucky for me the it only needed some minor things done to it. This is the type of honest, reliable service you hope to find in a mechanic. These guys are the opposite of the typical dealer or shop who try to up sell you or overcharge you -- they give you honest, straight answers about what your car needs, and they treat their customers fairly and with respect. They also have a lot of knowledge about VWs and European cars, which is something your average mechanic does not always have extensive knowledge of. Would highly recommend Raffi! read more

I recently had some work done on my car by another mechanic. When my car was returned I had some concerns about the work performed and took my car into Saab and Raffi for a second opinion. They looked at the work and ensured me that work was not the issue and my concerns were caused my something else. They hopped in my car for a test drive and were able to pinpoint the culprit in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. When making the appointment, I was fearing the worst, as you do when you drive a brand that has been discontinued; they could have easily turned my concerns into some serious billable hours but they were truly stand up folks and really took care of me and my 9-3. read more
