I just love this place is like the open place to people that don't cut metal they take every last 10 middle they can possibly exist copper, brass ,steal car parts ,refrigerators , Freezers aluminum yard furniture it takes aluminum ,steel, brass ,copper basically any kind of metal you can find or have it in your yard that you don't need any more. they have two entrances one for commercial side and if I were you can take and drive your truck in or your carts with the metal that you have in it to sell it you have to separate everything out. or you can walk in if you don't have a car That's a nice commercial side Did you payments to get a receipt you have to be at least 3 to 4 days to receive your money but it's like so worth it I highly recommend this place!!!! read more

Hector signed my receipt as deputy and Griselda as cashier. Stay away from this place, it's a rip-off and a scam. I brought over 65 pounds of scrap metal and only got $0.86 (that's eighty six cents!) I reviewed my receipt and realized they took my "bronze powder-coated steel base and stainless steel top outdoor heater" as "tin." When I asked the cashier she said "yeah we take that as tin and it is $30 per ton." Glad I live nearby and dropped this off on my way to work so no fuel was wasted on this visit. Hector knows how to steal from people and he obviously does this frequently; I noticed he was whispering something to the scale guy as we waited in line for our turn. They probably take all metal as tin during their shift so at the end of the day they can steal the actual amount of money that was payable to customers. What a scam. Management should look into it as soon as possible. I would certainly not recommend this place. Stay away. read more

THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF. I had 100 lbs of aluminum and they priced me at .35 cents a pound. I always get .50 a pound or so. I asked the worker there why it's so low. He tried to give me a story about how aluminum price drop and that it was .40 cents a couple days ago. I told him last time I got .53 cents, he looked at me like I was crazy. Literally went down the street, not even a block down on 28th and got .55 cents a pound with cash in my pocket a few mins after. Meanwhile SA wanted to do a 3 day hold. Total place is a ripoff!! I don't know how the scrap is worth normally but i got 80 cents for a dishwasher. I'm not complaining about the money. The lazy ass lady in the window was pissing me off. She would take her sweet time in the a.c room and was really rude. She had poor customer service skills,very poor manners, also very poor directions. She obviously hated her job, but it would be nice to be treated as a customer and not a peasant taking orders from her rude ass. Everyone else were pretty friendly. I helped a friend in a wheelchair by taking a machine to recycle with my work truck. Without telling me they made the check out to my business and put my friends address on the check. We didn't see that until half way home and I called them to have them correct it. They said they will not because I used a company truck to take the machine, again they didn't inform us of this. All things that go into Business accounts have to be accounted for so it's not like you can just cash the check or take money out of the ATM. Also not having the correct address on it makes it impossible. The asshole lady said they have to make it out to the company if you use a company truck "because they have cameras", wtf do cameras have to do with anything? I get it people steal stuff and recycle it buy I run this business and my friend gave all his info BUT they still won't reissue the check.
