I was honestly too embarrassed to say anything at the time, but I now feel it's important to bring attention to it. I'm not posting this to be malicious or to hurt the business. However, salons have a responsibility to maintain strict sanitation practices, and I hope this encourages the salon to take a closer look at how their equipment and tools are cleaned between clients so that something like this can hopefully be prevented from happening to anyone else.

Me and a friend spent half a day there doing the spa day escape. We got greeted by a very friendly…read moreand kind receptionist who showed us where to change into a robe. We lounged in our robes as we waited for our services to begin which was right on time. I had the body scrub and massage 1st and 2nd. Leo do both of those services and he was fantastic. He gave me a deep tissue massage which I needed for my muscles to relax. It was great and my body felt like butter afterwards. He was very kind and attentive to my needs. After that I had a facial which made my skin look 20 years younger and healthy. After that we got to lounge drinking mimosas, tea, water or coffee and then got whisked away to relax in the salt cave. Both my friend and I felt lighter and relieved of any stress we had. Then we got a meal that we chose off the menu. It was a half day of pampering and didn't want to leave. I didn't take any pics as I locked our phones away so we could truely relax. Tip: arrive early at least 30 mins to fill out paperwork and change and get a little relax time.

As I began to plan my Hot Girl Summer I realized something was missing or rather something needed…read moreto go missing-- I needed a wax! I came across Sugar & Lash thanks to Yelp and was ready to try out the Brazilian sugar wax. BLUF: I had a good experience for my sugar Brazilian wax. Would recommend! I'm pretty open minded and always ready for an experience so I had no prob having a total stranger see my lady pocketbook. That's the first thing I'd say to people you have to be comfortable with someone being all in your business. I've never had a Brazilian wax or a sugar wax so I read into it. Brazilian wax removes the hair in the front and the back. I must've missed reading the part about the BACK because I was a little shocked when she said it lol. Sugar wax is less harsh than regular wax bc the hair is pulled in the same direction. I met and talked with Mandy then I was taken to a private room. I took off my bottoms only and received a towel wrap that had snaps to fit on my waist. I laid on the table and let the lady know I was ready through the closed door. She came in and got to work. I would say it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. Mandy is considerate and would offer breaks but I just went the whole time nonstop. It's good to have at least a weeks worth of hair but not too much hair or else that's more pulling. Mandy went to work on the front and the BACK. The front was more effort than the back. The back goes really quick and is much easier to handle. A little weird feeling but manageable. I was there for about 30 minutes and it really all goes quickly. Mandy will talk to you throughout to make it less awkward and as pleasurable as possible. Overall it was not scary or way painful. I will be back for another. I know over time the hair will get thinner and waxing will be easier.

It felt like the wax melts better on the skin when pulling out the hairs it doesn't feel like torture. I like how she added powder and cleaned the area before and kept adding powder through the whole service. She added a protective oil after which I loved.
