Had quite a nice meal here, but then found the next day we had been charged twice. Waited for a day…read moreto see if the duplicate went away but it didn't, it was posted. Returned to the restaurant where the owner refused to credit the double charge, even though it was clear from my online credit card account. He wanted us to provide card and account details and he would sort it in a few days. I was not happy with this as we were flying home tomorrow. When I stood my ground, the owner threatened to call the police, which I was quite happy with. I think he thought I'd walk away which I didn't. Police arrived and it backfired on the owner as they were very much on our side. Can't fault the police, they were brilliant. They insisted the owner resolve the situation immediately or the waiter would not be allowed to work there again, and they would both be off to the local nick. He paid us cash and we went on our way. The restaurant could use some nice music and the shrimp in the shrimp dish were very small in size. By the time you peel the shrimp it's almost not even worth the effort. Service was decent. They are very busy and are doing their best to tend to everyone. You really have to just get waiters attention and ask for what you need/want.
