Nice place in the Santa Catalina area. Friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. Had the argentinian beef - very good.

First of all: there is not a bad seat in this restaurant. We walked all over Puerto Soller and the…read moreway this restaurant is set up, you can sit in any spot and have an AMAZING view of the port and the boats passing by. It's tiered, so whether you sit up a bit at the top or down closer to the road, it doesn't matter because your view will be good. They also have a glass partition at the upper terrace, so you can see everything in the port. Everything else about this restaurant was a solid 5 stars. Food: out of this world good! It is Mediterranean Greek, so they have some Greek options on the menu. We ordered the pasta with shrimp (not sure of the exact name on the menu) but it was soooo good! Pasta was perfectly cooked and the shrimp were extremely tender. The parilla del mariscos was also amazingly good. My husband is a huge seafood person and was completely raving about it. He lived the cuttle fish and sword fish and said it was his favorite place we've been to our entire trip to Europe! Per person, the parilla del mariscos was 18 euro, we thought an amazing deal! Would HIGHLY recommend. The service was also outstanding! Our waiter was so nice and so prompt! He was great! And sat us exactly where we wanted to sit. At the end of the meal, he brought out the check with the very cute little business card of the restaurant -- a nice touch. Overall outstanding value and amazing food in an amazing setting. Definitely eat here!!

Don't hesitate! Come here! This is a Michelin rated restaurant that is opening another location in…read moreMadrid soon! The kitchen is fairly open so you can see what is going on with your food. They have a Ratatouille mouse stuffed animal on their shelf which I thought was very adorable. The blonde waitress (and I think part-owner) we had was super friendly, attentive and smiley. We tried the Caesar salad, croquettes (3 different flavors: suckling pig, Cauliflower and 1 other one I cannot remember) with 3 different dipping sauces, 2 chicken dishes (cannot recall the name), and a mango dessert (tiny, good for 1 person). We ate everything family-style though not every dish is easy to share (example: the mango dessert). This place is great for a special occasion or if you want to dine somewhere where you can get dressed up. Our favorite dish was, hands-down, the Caesar salad. I never expected to be impressed by a Caesar salad. It was prepared in a way we have never seen before. The salad was chopped but not mixed up, wrapped in cheese, and then flambeed with a torch with the dressing inside the cheese. All of their dishes are presented in a whimsical and unique way. The hot-dogs, which we didn't order, comes on a plastic blow-up balloon dog, the croquettes are served on a metal tree with different branches, some other dish is served on a 70s mini-van, etc. They gave us a complimentary licorice liquor shot at the end of our meal. They take online reservations. They were very accommodating when we had to edit our reservation to a later time. During our visit, there was a large business group there as well as a bachelorette party. Even so, the restaurant was never rowdy/super loud. The interior is very swanky, modern and soft in decor. There is a pink/purple glow in the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor/patio dining.

We lucked out and scored a table on their first night open for the season. Our server was of the utmost help by guiding us through the menu and strongly suggesting certain dishes. We ordered a few drinks and some wine through out our dinner and I was in love with everything we got! Drinks were creative and the wine was a great quality. The food is on another level. I can finally understand why Spain is the gastronomy center the world ...or so I've been told. All the dishes were complex and had an explosion of flavor and were like works of art. Almost too pretty to eat. I can't even choose a favorite dish. Everything I ate was as good as the last and the next. I highly recommend eating here. It will take your taste buds on a special journey that you will not regret going on!

For our third night in Alcudia we were looking for a great BBQ-place. My brother-in-law had heard…read morerecommendations of Sa Taverna des Port neighbouring the local port (hence the name). The location is beautiful, so just when sitting down the vibe and buzz was great. The smell from the barbeque, people talking, sun shining while setting over the hundreds of boats. Unfortunately, that wasn't to last. It all started after we ordered our drinks. They came with wrong amounts, missed orders and it took them three turns to our table to sort it out (17 people). I had a red wine, but the only possible way to describe it was "disgusting". Tasted of bad spirits followed by a bitter aftertaste. This didn't improve my impression the slightest. My wife and I ordered Angus beef for two people that was to be grilled tableside. I guess I should have heard warning bells ringing, but maybe the bad wine had numbed my sense of reason. I love a bit of theater in food (Heston Blumenthal, anyone?), and I was expecting a larger piece of Angus being cooked near us. Oh it was cooked alright, beyond any recognition of Angus beef. It was so well-done that it could stand up on its own edge without falling. Extremely tough. Angus beef should NEVER be tough! Top this with no seasoning, no char or sear (it wasn't even grilled but more like boiled on a hot stone). Why on earth they sear 5-6 mm slices of meat instead of an entire piece and then cut it tableside for theatre is for me beyond stupid. That's a big no-no in cooking 1-on-1. My baked potato, apart from being cold, wasn't even cooked all the way through. The vegetables were beyond boring. Tomato, cucumber, lettuce, and a bit of corn in one corner of the plate with a bitter and not at all pleasant dressing on the palate. Also, none of the vegetables were even cooked - all raw! Some other guests in our company thought a bit better of their food, although the general consensus came in the end down to a shared disappointment. Next big letdown was of course the pricing, overpriced beyond any belief and reason. Not that I know the feeling, but it has to resemble being an additional member of the Village People at an after party concert. The view from the restaurant overlooking the harbour is top class. Unfortunately, that's the only top about it. Hands down the worst dining-experience I've had so far in Alcudia and Mallorca. It does get two stars because it simply isn't as bad as some other previous experiences where the food actually made me throw up (my stomach though was in turmoil and not really agreeing with me the rest of that night). But please take that second star with a huge bucket of saltwater and simply stay away from this place if you have any care for either quality or value for money. This place provides neither.
