I needed a counter top for a new cabinet I had installed in my living room next to the fireplace…read more I'd looked at various stone places out of town. The problem doing this is that you must purchase a large slab, find someone to cut, finish, transport and install it. I saw The Top Shop's ad in the Lompoc Record and I went by to see if they had any remnants as I didn't need a very large piece. Greg was very accommodating and tolerant of my indecisiveness. He showed me what remnants he had that would meet my needs. Since I was having the fireplace retiled, I decided to use the same countertop material for the hearth too. He also knew someone who could do my tile work and they coordinated the project together. Greg and George do beautiful, precision work. I am so pleased with the outcome. The old hearth was terrible with chipped tile that had been painted and it wasn't level. Now I have a beautiful, sleek, level hearth with a matching countertop. The tile guy they recommended did a fabulous job. I highly recommend The Top Shop!

Me unknowingly thinking that insurance was paying direct just went with it until the insurance fell through. Lookng through the charges there was a lot of fraudulent services added to the cost that I then had to pay out of pocket. This never happened and though told multiple times they allowed late fees adding hundreds more for me to pay out of pocket. This place does dirty business and charges more for the equipment use, then the equipment is worth to buy outright. Do not recommend and am opening a BBB report.
