I had patchy brows that made me insecure before so look at my pictures and see the results for yourself! I did SO much research on nanoblade artists because I was scared someone would mess up my face. I decided on Michy because of her other great reviews and thank goodness for the other reviews. 1) She was responsive, heard my needs, and spent a long time drawing on my brows to make them PERFECT during the appointment. I asked for her opinions on shapes, style, color, etc and she walked me through carefully, and gave me good reasons for why I should AND shouldn't go with certain styles, shapes, sizes of my brows. 2) She was SO meticulous! And made sure the process didn't hurt at all. 3) She offers a free touch up appt within 3 weeks of your first session. First of all, not all artists offer this and charge like $100+ more for a touch up. Second, this is helpful because when your brows heal, certain spots might be patchy depending on your skin type (which is natural), or you might just want to change something about your brow shape. So this ensures you stay loving your results long term. (my touch-up is in a few days) After 2 weeks of healing, my brows settled in so nicely and naturally. It's so natural you literally cannot tell I got them nanobladed AT ALL. It just looks like my real brow! I attached before, right after my session, and healing after 2 weeks results! (I have makeup on, but NONE on my brows btw***)

I will preface this review by saying that I was born without eyebrows. I have no brow hair, barring…read morea slight amount of baby fuzz. Imagine having no artistic talent whatsoever, trying to pencil on eyebrows from scratch. Every day. I could never get them symmetrical. Let's not even go into the thousands of "where are your eyebrows?" questions when I'd go without makeup. I came to Sherri and Green because I'd seen their work online for years. They specialize in completely natural, streamlined brows that are custom bladed according to each individual. No offense here, but most brow bars that I've seen go with the "instagram brow". You know, the thick, heavy handed, cookie cutter brow that is one size, one shape fits all. It's not unique to the individual. This studio provides an entirely different experience. I had a free consultation with Green, she walked me through the process and let me know what to expect. During my first appointment, Sherri consulted with me briefly, sketching a brow shape on my face that worked with my natural brow lines. She sanitized and numbed my brows, and the micro blading process was comfortable and smooth. She went over aftercare with me, and the entire appointment took about an hour. Talk about an artist. She's technically and artistically gifted. Hair stroke precision. Literally. If you've never had your brows done, here are a few observations based on my experience: The ink will get lighter. It will fade a little or a lot depending on your skin. You may go home, look in the mirror a few times and realize you'd like a tweak here or there. That's why you go in for the touch up. They say "don't worry" for a reason. I wanted to extend my left brow a bit, and I wanted them a bit thicker. They cover all of that in the follow up visit. So, don't feel unnecessarily alarmed about the little details, you're in good hands and it is all part of the process. I had my touch up with Green. Amazing personality, she's proficient and professional. She had no fewer than 4 back to back appointments that day, and she kept things moving quickly while still devoting her full time and attention to each client. She took her time, and she made sure to treat my eyebrows with the detail and effort that they deserved. This is a big deal for me, the eyebrows are a major focal point of the face. I received the royal treatment. Sherri and Green are the definition of professional. They're brilliant, intuitive and they KNOW their stuff. I will be a lifetime loyal client. I will be going in for a second touch up in a month if necessary. After the first included touch up, you don't have to pay the initial (full) fee for subsequent touch ups. I definitely appreciate that!

When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. After three years of coming here, I truly trust Irene's Skintopia with my skin. They've helped me repair my skin barrier, keep my skin clear, improve my texture, and maintain results that still look natural. It is worth every single penny, and I'm so grateful I found this place. I recommend them to everyone!

Today Elena got a lash lift and lash tint at Glow Beauty Waxing... and honestly, I'm still shocked at how beautiful it turned out. This wasn't just a "pretty" result. The moment she opened her eyes, her whole vibe changed. Elena kept saying, "Mom, I want my lashes SUPER lifted!" and somehow they understood exactly what she wanted. Every single lash was lifted perfectly. Long, clean, dramatic -- but still soft and natural. Her eyes look brighter, bigger, and so much more sparkling. When I saw her side profile, I literally had to stop for a second. And the tint made everything even prettier. It looks like she was naturally born with dark, perfect lashes. But the best part wasn't even the lashes. It was watching Elena quietly smile at herself in the mirror and say, "Mom... I love it so much." That moment melted my heart. I started getting my brows microbladed over a decade ago by a woman named Han. She was still my go-to person when I tried to text her for an appointment last week. To my surprise, I got a response from Connie of Glow Beauty Waxing, who told me Han was no longer in the state and that she, Connie, would be taking care of all clients in the meantime. She assured me that she'd been working with Han for over ten years, and that yes, she could see me that very afternoon. Han is apparently in Hawaii now, unless of course Connie has Talented Mr. Ripleyed her and taken her phone number and client list. I suspect this is not the case, as Connie is very sweet. She is also an excellent esthetician, and I will be going to her from now on for all my eyebrow needs. I met her in her little room inside Cherie Nail at the Koreatown Galleria, next to the food court. It was a neat, functional space, with a single bed for customers to lie down and entrust her with their faces. It had been over a year since my last microblading appointment, and the pigment had definitely faded. Connie also pointed out that it had turned slightly red, noting that the fine lines made by microblading smudged and turned reddish on some people's skin. She suggested a different permanent makeup technique that might be better for me, and I told her to go ahead and do as she thought best. She sketched out a shape, which I approved, then waxed my brows and started the process of filling them in. I took a nap and woke up with fresh, handsome eyebrows that had no relation to my DNA. Connie used a technique I'd never heard of called powder spray, and it looks fantastic. Less natural than microblading but like meticulous make-up, better than any pencil job I've ever done. It was also significantly less painful than microblading. It's been a little over a week and I love my new eyebrows. I also love that I don't have to think about them until my touch-up in a month or so, and for another year or whatever after that. I hope Han is enjoying Hawaii, and I'm happy to have Connie in charge of my brows.

It was easy to make an appointment at the clinic and upon arrival, Stella got to work right on time, starting with a consultation and she listened intently as I explained that I wanted to get only my upper eyelids done with permanent eyeliner with the thinnest and most natural looking result as I was growing concerned that daily on/off application of gel eyeliner was causing more wrinkles. Stella then applied the numbing cream and once she got to work, she gave me a hand mirror and constantly checked with me to verify if the line was what I had in mind. Once confirmed, she got to work and did the most beautiful job of creating a thin, natural line close to my upper eyelashes. She was painstakingly careful and the procedure was completed to my exact specifications. She is not just a skilled technician, but a real artist of permanent make-up!
