I got into a front-end collision accident a few weeks ago. This was the first accident I'd had in a while & I figured I'd take it to Commonwealth as I'd done in the past. When I called Commonwealth, they told me it would be 3 weeks until the next appointment & if I wanted to drop it off, it would be 5+ days before anyone would even look at it. Not acceptable. I found S K Autobody here on Yelp & decided to check them out because of their fantastic reviews. I was able to bring my car in the next morning & immediately felt at ease after meeting Shadi & some of the crew. You know that feeling where you think you might get ripped off? Not here. Shadi went over the damage with me, was honest about how long it would take & I left the car with him. Less than a week later, I get a message that the car is done but if would it be okay to keep it an extra day to apply a brand new paint to the front. Of course, I said yes. I went to pick up the car & it looks better than it did when I bought it 8 years ago. The paint job was well worth the extra day! Not only that, but I was offered some fresh chicken eggs Shadi had just pulled from the back. I would highly recommend SK to any of my friends, I had the unfortunate pleasure of doing business twice with them in a 2 month period. The first visit was because I had hit a deer with my Car and Shadi had me bring my car for him to look at, with the damage to my hood and headlight he deemed it unsafe to drive, set me up with a rental immediately and took care of all the leg work with my insurance (which made the process faster because the next availability for me to bring my car to a damage adjuster for geico was about 2 weeks away) My car looked brand new when I picked it up and they even give you a complimentary detail. Fast forward about a month, and a co worker of mine backed into my rear driver side door. I again, brought the car to SK and had my car back within a week. What a great auto body place. Came here to get an estimate on having some rust taken care of on my car. Not only did they fix it, but it looks like the rust was never there in the first place !! Shadi gave me an estimate for the work to be done & answered all my many questions. They even detailed the car for me before i picked it up making it look like a new car !! They also touched up the small dings on my doors from when people open their car doors & hit my car. I am very pleased with this place & HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for quality body work. He got her truck right in and didn't hesitate to call the insurance company on their games. He stayed in communication the whole process and went above and beyond to get things done right. Being from a business-owning family, I love when I get the opportunity to use small family-owned businesses and am even happier when my expectations are far exceeded! I recently took my SUV to SK Auto Body on Howe St. in Methuen, MA for bodywork and the service and results were worth every single penny. I was able to make an appointment easily and they were able to accommodate my non-traditional schedule. When I arrived, they went over everything they were going to do and how much it was going to cost (very reasonable). From start to finish, they were extremely transparent, honest, and knowledgeable. When I picked up my baby, it was sparkling clean and looked brand new! All of the bumps, dings, and nicks were gone and the inside was cleaned too! I brought my 2018 grand Cherokee to SK after being in a fender bender. I need the front and side panels replaced on the drivers side of my car. Shadi was very helpful and did a terrific job repairing my vehicle. All the work was completed within the quote I received from my insurance and he also detailed my car in an out at no extra charge. Sam is a very friendly and knowledgeable person who aims to set you off right. He painted a small spoiler for me to match my white car, but it did not come out right. Now, mind you, white is an inherently difficult color to match perfectly even with specialty mixed paint. He offered to respray it free of charge, which I was not expecting at all, if there was something wrong with the paint. So I went to the paint shop to get it corrected, but it turns out the paint was fine, the rest of the car is simply faded. What he did was buff the trunk and spoiler for me to get them to match as closely as possible. He should have been sick of seeing me coming back 5 times for the same job but each time he maintained the same friendly, helpful attitude. Definitely worth a visit for minor repairs or even a full detail. read more
