Above and beyond service. I truly cannot say enough about the excellent customer service that I received at S&T Auto Body. From drop off to pick up, I was met with nothing but professionalism. My car was side swiped on two separate occasions and they handled the insurance process impeccably. The shop owner came out to greet me personally when I dropped off my car and gave me his contact information. My friend was running late picking me up and he offered more than once to get me an Uber. At pick up, there was a slight incident that was not on them. They quickly went into action and everything was resolved in record time. They absolutely did more than they needed to even though it was not their fault. Theo assured me that everything would be taken care of and truly exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful experience with S&T auto body. I had two small accidents, one at fault one not at fault, and at different dates. Despite the claims being months apart they were willing to process both at the same time for me. They were very patient and willing to work with me and my insurance to get it all taken care of. Working with my insurance was easy, but as I have a Tesla, there's not many Tesla certified spots and this is one of the only Tesla certified spots that also worked directly with Statefarm. Although I am a bit far out from the Bronx, it turned out to be an amazing experience. Brought it one day to fix the front corner and back, and they fixed it all perfectly about 15 days later, and there was a holiday weekend too during this so I was impressed with the speediness! Definitely felt like I was a priority. Working with their call center was easy. They give you an estimated time of completion, but when I would call to get direct updates they were willing to ask their mechanics how long exactly so I could coordinate with work when I can take off to pick up my car. Very willing to work with me which I appreciated. It took a Couple of days longer than their estimate but that was no biggie. The location is a little tricky, so if you're not a fan of driving in traffic and navigating that busy area near Fordham and botanical gardens, it may not be the most Ideal for you. For me it was fine and overall I had a wonderful experience with them and will most definitely consider coming back if I have a need for more repairs in the future! read more

If I could have given zero (0) star I would. Absolute poor customer service. The customer service at this establishment is unbecoming, mocking, and condescending. After volunteering to hold while the representative checked on the status of his colleague I was left on hold for over ten minutes. The response was, "you said you would hold while I checked!" My response was even though I may have volunteered to hold after checking the courteous and professional thing to do would be to inform the customer about your findings and ask if I still desire to hold. After several call backs and finally speaking to desire person Luis, in an attempt to explain to Luis, he laughed and disregard my concerns as if I'm a nonentity. The disrespect of it all. S&T advertise rental company Enterprise on their phone message and great partnership, however when enquired about this option representative Luis reply we don't promote Enterprise and it's the insurance responsibility to provide rental assistance and or rental information. Lastly think wisely before bringing your vehicle to S&T. They seem to be more interested in the authenticity of your insurance than the functionality of your driving machine/vehicle. read more

During some strong winds, the roof of my car was covered in a few holes, so I turned to S&T autobody for help. They took 3 weeks and those were the longest weeks of my life but when I finally got the call to pick up my baby, I was anxious and nervous but omg when they finally revealed her to me, I was in amazement. The roof looked brand new, and my car was detailed to perfection. Yes, they took long (it was very damaged) and charged an arm and a leg (someone has to keep the lights on lol), but the job was immaculate, and that's what matters most. read more

I had an accident in November, and the car was being repaired until Mid December. There was communication issues with getting the car to the shop from where it was towed to, but after it finally arrived to S&T communication was clear and transparent. They stayed true to the time estimate, and when I would call with questions about the insurance or any issues, they were very responsive. When the car was given back to me, I found it exactly how I left it. After the repair, there was an issue with the door closing properly. The next day I went back to the shop to fix the issue. I was told to drive into the shop and the was fixed right then and there. I had a great experience at S&T. read more

I was referred to S&T auto body for my car repair after I was rear ended in an accident. The quality of their work and overall service exceeded my expectation. Johan, the customer service rep on site, was extremely helpful and a friendly guy. He made sure the process was smooth. As a courtesy, they even replaced the pinstriping on my car, which was missing from the driver side door (unrelated to my accident). The lead time for repair was fairly quick, took only a week. They did a fantastic job of matching the paint to the rest of the car, and could not be happier with the end result. This is the worse auto shop I ever been, why is it taking more than a month just to fix front bumpers on a Tesla? On top of that the estimate amount is almost 10k when the damages is no where near close to 3000. On top of that I called about my vehicle , told me it was ready for pick up next day, I called next day they told me it was getting detailed we'll call you back. No call. Next day still waiting I call back no answer and no car so now I have to wait 2 more freaking days and also pay for a rental out of pocket. I brought my car here after I was rear-ended as it is a Geico Xpress shop. When I got my car back, some new problems had cropped up. Firstly, my passenger side window wouldnt roll down. Secondly, I couldnt lock the car from the driver side while inside if the car. Lastly, every time I get out of the car and lock it, the drivers window rolls down. I brought my car to these people on May 11th it took them about 2 weeks (got car back may 25) to tell me some bs about 10,000 dollars in damages when truly they just didn't want to fix the car and they could have just said that but it took them 2 weeks to even tell me that or to "put the car on a lift." I brought in my car for an insurance appraisal. The lady at the front desk completely ignored me and was busy on her personal cellphone while I waited, she put her hand up in my face to signal wait - rude. The gentleman who did the appraisal on the other hand was professional and explained the further process in detail. I called in the following week to see if the appraisal was ready, I was told they would call me back to let me know the status - no one ever called. S&T was fantastic! They updated me on my car's collision repair status through texts every few days. They worked directly with my car insurance, which made the process very simple. Nelson not only painted the entire car, but he fixed the dents from the previous accident, my headlights, and other little parts. Even though I had to come back to fix a light bulb from one of my headlights and one of the clips for the rear bumper, I had an overall great experience. Nelson understood what I wanted and made me love my Honda Civic even more. My car was hit while parked during the night by a hit-and-run driver. They cause damage to my whole rear quarter panel on the driver side. In addition to the panel being replaced, the trunk had to be reset and the whole back light replaced. My mechanic strongly recommended S & T. I decided to take a chance with them because they were not on the list that my insurance sent me. This doesn't mean that my insurance didn't recommend them, it's just that certain insurances have preferred relationships with certain shops for paperwork processing, etc. S&T's main insurance is Geico which I don't have. My insurance was willing to work with S&T and S&T was familiar with my insurances procedures. Tom, who did an excellent job managing my car's work, took care of me from start to finish. He gave me an estimate on the spot and got my car in the system. There is an Enterprise Car rep. on site and he processed my rental on the spot. I was out of the place in less then an hour and driving in my rental car. It took over a week to do all the repairs which was fair due to all the work and ordering parts. I got a detailed list of parts ordered and work done. I'll be honest they did NOT call me to give me updates which might drive some people crazy since, for some people, their car is their baby. I was a little concerned but I could not be bothered with fretting over my car when I had a nice rental and I knew my insurance was taking care of everything and they would be the first to let me know something was up. I did drop in unannounced after a week just to see how things were going. Tom graciously took me on the shop floor where workers where hard at work like busy bees on a LOT of cars including mine. The work on my car was done in a little over a week and it looked as if there had NEVER been ANY DAMAGE at ALL. If I hadn't taken before pics of the damage for the insurance company, I'd think the car had never been damage. So overall I was VERY happy with the work AND the service I received at S&T Body Shop. August 17th 2021 3:15 p.m. I attempted to pull in to get starting with a claim I was referred here by State farm.as I was trying ask the guy (Nelson manager)if I can pull in while in the middle of the busy street he ignores me to yell to someone across the street about eating food disregarding my potential business here not only causing me to stall in the middle of traffic so I had no choice to turn in and he says "don't get hit again!" antagonizing the fact my vehicle is already damaged. How f*king rude. As I pulled in the driveway he goes yeah park right there I said well I here gee thanks he goes 'well what is it that you want starts tapping on my windshield telling me we don't fix glass I said you don't even know what I'm here for how about you ask me ZERO PROFESSIONALISM. this guy was so obnoxious how do people even do business here. this is the problem with these big facilities they have no compassion or empathy for their customers because they get a lot of business PUSHED TO THEM to them from the insurance companies they don't even have a heart anymore about the community or the people that does business with them you're just another dollar sign pulling in. Hence they have too many cars they're working on God knows how long it's going to take for your car to get fixed there a week's job probably take a month when you got to deal with nastiness and overwhelming business I would suggest stick to a local Mom and pop's place where they actually care about your business unlike S&T Auto. I just got my car I was so happy and excited to get it. until one day I came out of work late at night to come to notice that my car was hit while parked with no one to blame I was so sad,mad and frustrated. I didn't know where to turn until my brother told me about the wonderful experience that he had with S an T especially with Ruben. I went and spoke with Ruben and he was so wonderful and helpful he guided me to the correct path. His customer service skills are wonderful I also had help from Luz she was also so wonderfu. they both were very nice and patient and took there time to explain everything to me and at no time my car was fixed. My car looks like it just came out the dealer again brand new you can't even tell that the door was distroyed. I will definitely always go to them for any car issue. As a new car owner it is wonderful to have someone and somewhere to turn for my car needs and have someone I can trust. Could not say enough about my experience with S&T. My car got hit a lot while parked, and they gave me a deal to have all the work done, making it easy on both my mind and wallet. You can tell a good business especially by how employees treat each other -- S&T has a very positive environment in their office with lots of friendly banter. Tom who seems to run the shop made the whole process easy while Maribel at the front desk was always helpful and cordial. On top of being hit while parked, some things had been stolen off the back of the vehicle, including my roof antenna which was going to cost about $400 to replace because of the internal damage. Rather than leaving me to file a separate claim for vandalism and pay another deductible, Tom found a used part and they made the repair for free -- didn't charge me for the part or even the labor. After getting my recently purchased car hit by a Vespa, I was extremely disappointed, and was not looking forward to the hassles that you deal with in the Auto industry. S & T Auto made this experience as easy and burden free as possible. My car was fixed in just a few days and it was as if I was never hit. (Repairs were blemish free and they even threw in a few extras.) At S&T you have rental cars at your convenience when dropping off your car. Overall my experience with S&T Auto was HORRIBLE. I will start off by saying the one star given in this review is because the actual body work was good. However, dropped my car off for some minor body work. Was told to drop it off on a Monday and I would get it back by Friday. Called Friday to pick up car and was put on hold for 20 minutes then told it still needed to painted after a very delayed response. (Something tells me the work wasn't even started.) Friday I was told the car would be ready by Tuesday, called Tuesday and was told the car was ready by one employee then told by another that it wasn't and I would have to wait til then end of the week. Thursday rolls around and my insurance company calls me telling me the car is finished and to go pick it up. I get to the shop wait 30mins then I'm told it's not ready and I'd have to come back the next day. After what seemed like forever I finally spoke to someone who did something and got the car back 2 hours later. None of the staff was on the same page, no one answered the phones, and no one was very helpful. Would not recommend them to anyone solely for the experience. read more

Top shelf business. From the 'meet and greet' to getting your keys back, this is a 'real deal' shop. They have a full service repair shop a few blocks away, which I have used three times to maintain a car that is no longer made, I get offers to buy quite often, and will drive it until I say adios to a Dino engine. Repair prices match the 'book' for the job, they use OEM parts, and have an excellent mechanic who knows his trade. Steve, the owner, is fully engaged with his business and it shows. Really great place. I usually have my brother, who is also a mechanic, work on my car, but when he was out of town, my friend recommended S&T. The guy I worked with (sorry I forgot his name!) was really friendly, was incredibly knowledgeable and seemed genuine. I'll be honest, I had no idea what I was getting myself into or what I needed, but when I described the problem as "my ride is just absurdly bumpy at certain speeds," the guy immediately knew that I needed a new suspension. What a great auto body experience! Everyone there was a delight to do business with! They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. Being in the auto body field for the first 25 years of my life I am a stickler for perfection when it comes to my cars. These guys really know what they are doing, and working on high end cars is there specialty! Steve the owner went out of his way to make sure all repairs were done as well as a list of other items I added while they were doing the insurance work that he was more than happy to fold in! February 20, 2014 I first heard of Steve from S & T Auto Body from two friends that appraised his work on several occasions , as they had their cars repaired there and referred their friends and family to go there as well. I recently lost control of my own car, due to the snow storm, and caused front damage to my car. Upon first talking to Steve, he was patient with me on the phone, understood that the damage would be paid from my pocket, did not pressure me in any way, and assured me that I will be happy with his work. Upon meeting him, I instantly felt comfortable with him. Within minutes, his estimator was by my side evaluating the damage, as to what part can be repaired and what needs replacement, in order to save me money. I was quoted a price, hundreds less than a local auto body in my neighborhood in Queens. I was then driven from his shop to the local car rental and I was soon on my way. A couple times I called for updates. The office ladies were always courteous with me and gave sincere updates on my vehicle's progress. The day I picked up my car, I was very happy with his work, as if the car was never damaged, like brand new. These guys are great replaced entire rear quarter on my A7 . I am OCD about my car and it came back good as new. Someone from the shop even called enterprise rental before I got there and they upgraded me to a 2018 mustang while my car was in the shop . Maybe felt bad for me being so upset about finding my car smashed (hit and run) . I've had my car repaired at this shop twice. The first time was to replace my side mirror that was knocked off while parked on the street by a driver who wasn't courteous enough to leave contact info. The customer service from the supervisors/managers was mediocre. I wish there was more value for your customer's time when you step into the office. Those that seemed to know people on the other side of the counter were treated differently than others. But the real issue was that the quality of the work was average at best. Upon close inspection of my vehicle anyone would be able to tell that my mirror had been knocked off and replaced. I didn't make a fuss about it because I was in the midst of a family emergency and couldn't waste time going back and forth at an auto repair shop. The second time was about a year later, to repair my driver side door glass and same side view mirror after an accident. I only went back to S & T because the location was extremely convenient. The repairs took twice as long as estimated and i had to call multiple times in order to get a status update on my car. After I finally picked up my vehicle, i noticed right away that the glass was not repaired correctly (where was the quality inspection?). I pointed it out to the employee and we had to undo the check out process because i had already returned the rental car. I was scheduled to come back and pick up the car the next day. When I picked up the car the second time, I was now instructed to wait 3 days before using the glass. I waited 4 days and when I rolled down the glass it completely fell out of the door jam. Long story short I was told that the issue was that the door glass was repaired with glass that did not fit the manufacturer's grade recommendations. It took an additional week and a day off from work to finally have the glass fixed to the point that it was safe enough to use, but it still has trouble going up sometimes. I don't need to be friends with my auto body shop, and I don't mind paying money for quality things and quality work, but I'm not ok with a bill for thousands of dollars and poor quality work. I will never go there again. If you are a friend or relative of someone that works there, perhaps you'll get better quality care or maybe even additional discounts, but I've spent too much of my time and money there to ever take my car back to S & T. I do have to give applause to the young man that often worked at the front desk (don't remember his name but this was between 2014 and 2016 ). He was always polite and professional. read more
