At the end he simply gave up and took down my contact info which I can appreciate. However no call back from anyone at All Dade Lawn Mowers. I then called back later in the day to follow up and again I was told someone would call me back. Again, no follow thru. I was trying to purchase from a local retailer instead of a big box store but it was evident my purchase was not worthy of their attention.

A few months later, it wasn't turning on, took it back and they got it fixed. I did think $110 to clean the carburetor and change the oil was a little high, but at least I got it fixed. 2 Months later the same issue came back, brought it back, the manager "tried" to get it to start and nothing, I thought it was the carburetor again, he took it in and came back telling me it wasn't worth to fix and that it was a better option to get a new one. Well, I took it to another place, not only they got it fixed (they cleaned the carburetor) but they've charged me $60 YOU DON'T DO THIS. I am a single mom of two, I have a Mobile Pet Grooming van, Lazaro (the manager) just wanted to sell me a new generator, when mine was 100% fixable. I don't recommend this place. I was very surprised, he had helped me out the first time, not being honest this last time is unacceptable

I was charged $79.99 for a Honda carb # 16100-Z8B -901, I was also charged $12 for shipping and $32 for labor. I called two other repair shops once I left and was quoted $60-$70 for the complete job, installed. Using the same Honda part. I could have purchased my same mower, brand new for $30 more than what I paid. Also I was told my carb had debris in it. But on the invoice it states water in carb. They wrote on my mover, in black marker as well. Not sure why. I believe in supporting small businesses. I believe in honesty and great customer service is a must. I learned my lesson and will always read YELP Reviews before I allow this to happen to me again. It's possible that I will get a response stating how this is all my fault. It's possible that somehow the price will be justified. It's also possible that Degen's actually learns something from the reviews and adjusts accordingly. Update 04/18/19: And as I stated above.
