A week later, my check engine light came on. I returned they said they fixed it. Two weeks later AGAIN I returned and the shop said they identified a coolant leak but never fully explained the issue or its risks. Without informing me, they injected a stop leak additive into the engine. This was never mentioned before. They told me to sell my car when it's working ok. I ultimately had to take my car to a certified Honda dealership, who confirmed that the stop leak had spread through the entire engine system and caused over $7,000 in damage, making the car unsafe to drive. I was forced to sell my car because repairing it was no longer worth the cost. Despite providing documentation and attempting to resolve the matter professionally including sending diagnosis reports the shop denied responsibility and blamed "pre-existing conditions," which were never mentioned or documented before their repairs as they serviced my car for years. They also admitted to not having me sign any invoice before applying the additive, only creating one after the fact.

*1 Star - Stay far away from Prestige European*…read more I took my vehicle in for a slow radiator leak. I had already had it diagnosed by another mechanic who knew exactly where the problem was, but he didn't have the specialty tools to do the job and recommended Prestige European. I took it to Prestige and they quoted me $550 to fix it, so I approved the work. Two weeks later I had the EXACT same slow radiator leak I had before I ever brought it in. I brought it back and now they tell me it's going to be $2,950 to fix. Long story short - they fixed the WRONG PART the first time and would not own up to it. They kept my $550 and the little work they did do was very sloppy and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away. And while I was sitting in the waiting room, another customer was in there complaining about his car too.

Last month I sent my son to your shop, so you can fix his car knowing that it will cost us an arm and a leg, but you look at the problem, and you admit that it's not safe to drive as it is, to pay the dealer price it is too expensive. You fixed the issue, charged us a small amount of money sent us home not before explaining/advising us that it is a temporary solution and it's better to wait until we can find the part to be available at a reasonable price at the jank-yard, rather than to buy it from the dealer paying top dollar. I heat to admit that these days it's very rare to find honest people that work in this field. I appreciate your honesty and dignity therefore I strongly recommend using Jet Auto World for all of your mechanic needs.

I paid over $2,300 for them to give me back my car in worse shape, and I had almost the exact issue as another reviewer on this platform. I almost did not go to this shop for my initial repair because of his review - had a I seen two reviews with the exact same story I definitely would not have gone which is why I am writing this. This whole situation is extremely similar to the situation with AAction Transmissions that ended up on channel 10 news. Lo and behold, it's the same owners. I absolutely do not recommend this business. I brought my VW Jetta in on August 17th to get my AC evaporator replaced. It was promised as a 2 day job. 2 weeks later, it is finally ready and I pay $2300. It has a musty smell but I figured it would go away eventually. The day after I pick it up, the seatbelt, airbag, sensor lights come up on my dash. I take it back to them and specifically ask if there could possibly be a leak from the AC job and they say no and deny any correlation between the issues (quick internet search will tell you this is a common occurrence). A couple days later, it smells horrific like mildew and wet clothes. I find mold on the right passenger floor and all up the steering column, floor is sopping wet in all 4 footwells, and the car battery is dead. I take the car to Jiffy Lube and spend $321 to get a new battery, the mechanics tell me that it is a parasitic battery drain due to the flooding in my car and water conducting electricity not allowing the car battery to turn off and thus draining the battery. I take the car immediately to Atlantic Auto - they inspect and tell me that they pinched a drain pipe during the AC job and it is flooding the entire cabin. They admit fault and agree to dry it out. They deny a parasitic drain in the battery or leaving the car door open even after I explain and tell them there is no reason it should already be dead. Two weeks later I pick up my car on 9/16. I have the car back for less than 24 hours. In the afternoon I noticed that the passenger side was wet and sure enough the carpet and padding is soaking wet again. I take the car back to AA. They take the car back again and I get a rental car. A full week later I go to the shop around 5pm and pick up the car. They refuse to reimburse me for the battery or anything else. The airbag light and the seatbelt light is still on, the interior by the dash is coming apart because it has not been installed back correctly. The kicker is that the AC still does not work properly - the air is weak and gets cool then warm and does not stay cold. We are now in October (I took the car in in August). I take the car back to AA and ask them to put the dash back correctly. I also explain that the AC does not blow cold air - one of the techs sits with me in the car and tests things out, he uses a thermometer to measure the air and it measures the vents between 81 degrees and 87 degrees. He comes with me to the front desk and explains to them that the AC isn't even cold and that he noticed just from sitting there for a few minutes that it gets cold and hot and moves around the vents. Now, the owners refuse to talk to me to find a solution. What was promised as a 2 day job has now turned into a 3 month ordeal. The car left the shop in worse condition than when I first brought it in. I have spent over $5k throughout this whole ordeal for the service that I paid for to not be delivered and for the car to be flooded which will inevitably cause more issues down the line. The dash lights are still on, the car still smells like mildew and the interior is not put back correctly, the AC does not even work. The owners refuse to speak to me and the only thing AA can offer is for me to bring the car back in for them to fix it. I refuse, because I have already given them 5 chances and 3 months for them to fix the car - so needless to say I do not trust the shop. Every time I brought it back the car came back in worse shape. I do not recommend this business.
