had a busy day and while running errands saw that i ran over a screw and the air was leaking rapidly.. took it to my usual oil change spot (since i was due for 1) and the tire guy wasn't there so they recommended Pete's. He took Care of me super fast , had me in and out... he also checked the pressure on the other tires. Price was definitely fair as well! read more

Pete's Garage and Auto; I took my XC90 Volvo SUV into Pete's today. Let me start by saying when I contacted the garage yesterday I spoke with Alex, he remembered me and the conversation of the unique parts issue I was having... That conversation was a month ago so very impressed that he retained all the information. This is a garage where truly skilled, old school mechanically capable men work. Alex and his crew are polite in addition to being skilled mechanics, they listen to what you tell them the problem is, they start there! From what my husband and I saw while at their shop, we are truly left with the feeling that if they it can't fix it at Pete's garage it can't be fixed. Also, very reasonably priced read more

Pete's Complete Auto Service - Mechanic at Pete's garage working on my Volvo. - Auto Repair Near Me - Lauderhill, Florida

Alex, his shop and crew are 1st rate. Time and time again he has fixed my car, my wife's car and both of my kids cars. Each time it was done correctly and the price was very reasonable. This shop is a hidden Diamond in the rough of shops in Broward. Highly recommended. read more

This has got to be the best mechanic shop in all of Broward county. I took my car here to do some work and something on the seat was broken which at first it looked like it was something that happened at the shop, it turned out that it seemed to have been glued before. Alex took care of the plastic on the seat at no charge. What awesome customer service. Also the repair in the engine was done spot on. The car works like a charm. I will definitely be taking my cars there. I highly recommend it. Its a small shop with incredible service. All I can say is don't wait and take your car here because there's no price gauging here, and the service is awesome. What an incredible find, I found this place through yelp reviews and it was close to home. read more

My experience at Petes was net positive. I came in with what I hoped was a minor power steering leak but ended up being a little more serious and thus little more expensive. After some haggling, Alex and I came to the right price. The repair was a success. What else can you ask for? read more

Brought my car in for the front brakes & an oil chance. Pete's said $415. Took my car to my usual place $297. Added them cleaning the back brakes & still I paid $328 was my total. It was so funny I called Pete's 45 mins after I left there, with that $415 written quote, & asked how much just to do just the front brakes they told me $261 that's with labor & tax now include. So how does $55 oil change added make the price $415 when I was there in person 45 mins before. All these ppl on here most of gotten a discount for writing 5 stars, most be friends & family, or they just don't know the first thing about cars & what things cost. read more

I came here even though it's not as close as other repair shops because of the amazing reviews. The reviews are all true, Alex is very professional and courteous. He took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and made the repairs the same day. This will definitely be my new mechanic. read more

He did a great job. Extremely helpful. I couldn't bring the vehicle to him because of my work schedule, so he came and picked it up... it was also finished in a timely manner. My vehicle is in much better shape now than it was before it entered the shop... which is how it should be, right? I would recommend Pete's All day long. read more

I was absolutely impressed by the integrity and complete honesty when I brought an Audi for pre purchase inspection. Alex probably saved me thousands of dollars and time not to mention the safety of the vehicle was also a major concern. I recommend this mechanic to anyone who is looking for an outstanding service! Thank you Alex! Wish our family could have someone like you back home in Utah! read more

All good things about Pete's Complete. Starting with me calling on a Sunday, expecting a recording to tell me what time they opened the next day. I was surprised when someone happily answered. Alex was happy to help me with my questions about work to be done including tires, oil change and scratches. I work late so I was thrilled when he told me I could drop it off that night and leave the keys in the dropbox clearly labeled on the door. He called me the next morning with an estimate for tires, a synthetic oil change and wipers- completely reasonable pricing. I then asked him to check into a few other things as my car was a "where's Waldo" of little issues. They found every one! He was quick to call me back after the original work was complete and went over the additional things. All prices were reasonable and the service was beyond what I could have expected. He even helped me get some body work done while I was away from my car. Excellent company, I would highly recommend to everyone. read more

In my opinion one of the best auto shops in all of South Florida. It's incredibly difficult to find places where you're treated and priced fairly, and this place is an exception. I'd recommend this shop for anyone looking for auto service and will be using them again when the time comes. read more

Awesome service. Great customer service! From the 1st call they made me feel comfortable. Jamie communicated with me every step of the way to let me know what was going on. Tom did a great job to make sure my car was safe to drive..Thank you read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE.Went for an oil change and brought my OWN oil AND filter and they wanted to charge me $35 for "manual labor" when a regular oil change where they provide everything is $55. & to top it off they put 5quarts into my 4.2q car when i specifically said i wanted it to be somewhat close to the normal oil capacity & get the extra oil left back. 5 mins after I left, my car started smoking and turns out the didn't do all the screws and all my oil was leaking out. Assistant was very rude when i began to ask questions about pricing. read more

I've been using Pete's to fix my personal cars and my fleet of trucks at my electrical contracting business for over 5 years. There isn't a problem Pete can't fix. Their prices are fair and they only fix what's broken. No up selling or pressure. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, look no further! read more

Alex was extremely responsive and was able to get my car in quickly to check the breaks. He requested the VIN number a few days prior so he would have the parts needed and was able to complete the job in a few hours. This was the first time I went to Pete's for service and I'll be back. Thank you, Alex. read more

Alex was the absolute best. Very knowledgeable and professional. This is the way all mechanics should handle themselves. Definitely will recommend. read more

I had a good experience with this shop. I brought my own oil and filter and they changed the oil and rotated the tires quickly. I have a few recommendations, which I would prefer to address privately with them. read more

I found Pete's on a search after realizing that my previous tire place changed ownership and has horrible reviews as a result. I needed a couple of tires, rotation and alignment so I stopped by in passing thinking I'd probably have to make a future appointment. Not only was Alex very pleasant and knowledgeable but he was able to order my tires to arrive within just over an hour and squeeze me in the same day. I wish I'd known about this place sooner as I'd rather support a local, family owned business than a chain. I was very happy with my experience at Pete's and will definitely return/recommend. read more

This is definitely going to be my "go to" repair shop from now on! In today's day and age, it is extremely difficult to find an "honest" mechanic. Theres nothing bad to say here, I scheduled about 2 hours to install brakes and rotors. They were done in 2 hours 11 minutes, this included not having a bolt they needed to remove the rims and getting it from somewhere somehow while I worked on my laptop and ate my lunch in their air conditioned waiting room. Car drove great after I left and I paid the price agreed on. Rare in this industry to be treated right or more like a friend instead of a target. It's not a big place, just ask for Alex. read more

My husband and I have been bringing our cars to Pete's for about 8 years now and we cannot give them enough PRAISE! This is a family owned and operated business that will treat YOU like family the minute you walk in the door. I do not trust anyone else to touch our cars because they are the most experienced, knowledgable and TRUSTWORTHY auto service we've ever patronized. I have never been overcharged a dime and their biggest concern is my - and my family's - safety. And if that's not enough, they make themselves available to their customers 24/7! It's a testament to their ethical and top-rate business practices that most of their customers have been taking their cars to them for years. You won't be disappointed. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! My car was a total mess needing brake pads, rotors, calipers...the works on both the front and back as well as other repairs.
