I ordered for my wife and I the 16 piece baked chicken for lunch and dinner later. The pieces of chicken were very small. The breasts were an average size. However, the chicken was very dry, to the point of being almost inedible. My wife and I couldn't finish our breast pieces due to how dry they were. I tried a wing and it might as well have been dust. I decided to take the rest to our cabin to try and rescue something for dinner, but nothing could be saved. We were on a tight schedule so I did not bother asking for a refund. The area where you sit and eat was filthy. The window ledges had mold all over them, the trash was full, tiles were filthy, and tables hadn't been wiped. See photos. Our Ingles back home is spotless.

No matter if I need Shells to stuff with cooked snails or crab to Peanut Butter and oddities that sell like hotcakes, they have it. I don't remember how many years ago it was when the store sent me a survey asking what I wanted in an Ingles store. I asked for a Bank built inside the store, a 24/7 Drugstore a Donut Shop and Deli, and a Gestation.

Little Giant Farmers Market is a small Georgia based chain with five locations around the state,…read moretwo of which happen to be in Newnan. This particular store is located on the corner of Jackson Street and Millard Farmer, also known as "on the bypass" for those from Newnan. While it the anchor of the small shopping center there are a few other things next to it including a Chinese spot, nail salon and hair stylist. Parking is plentiful and never an issue due to the large dedicated parking lot. I will say that "Farmers Market" leads you to believe that his place is going to have plethora of fresh fruits, veggies and meats. However, that is not the case. Little Giant is basically an off-brand super market with a smaller selection of most items, including fruits, veggies and meats. I will say that they do run decent specials on their meats, especially the ground meat. Prices are somewhat competitive, but not extraordinarily discounted on any given item. They do have a section of $1.00 priced items that always include good things such as condiments, tuna, snacks, etc... Service has always been decent here. Never had any issues with the floor associates or cashiers. Overall, the locations of the two stores in Newnan are pretty convenient to my parents and that is the main reason I swing in here on occasion. If I am being honest, if I had the choice I would scoot up the road to Kroger for my big shopping trips, but LG is a decent choice in those moments where you need a few items.

It ended up being just about the same as a Publix or Kroger grocery. I think the most frightening thing about visiting was 2 female employees got into a fist fight at the checkout and started pushing each-other into the merchandise. I felt like I was on a TV show or something... Police came and everything.. crazy!

My stop at this Ingles was equal parts nostalgia and necessity. I happened to be in the Temple area…read moreshowing houses recently and decided to swing through Ingles to pick up a quick lunch instead of hitting the surrounding fast-food joints. Ingles used to be all over when I was kid and at that time was my mom's go to spot for groceries. Sadly, they have been replaced or just faded away in many areas closer to the city, but in the rural area Ingles are still thriving and this location is a great example of that! To start, this Ingles is quite large! It features all the normal grocery store sections plus the specialty sections of pharmacy, deli meats/cheeses, butcher/fish...but this location also has the sandwich bar along with the hot bar plus a wing bar that also has olives, sides, etc...and they even have a nice Starbucks that sits directly in front of the main entry door. Outside of the store they have a small Ingles gas station with competitively priced gas. I will say that while most of these things are also standard in Kroger's, the wing bar had me...that is legit the first self-serve hot wing bar I have come across in a grocery store! A few other things I like about Ingles is their reward program, which again is similar to Kroger. However, one thing they do have that the other chains do not is the $1 aisle, where they have a full aisle of things priced at just $1.00! Outside of everything they offer, I was impressed with how well kept and clean this location was. Additionally, the service was solid as well. I will say that while all the stuff listed above makes it sound absolutely phenomenal, I will say that Ingles prices are slightly higher that I am used to paying at other brands. If I lived in the area, I am sure I would not notice too much, but given a choice I feel Ingles would be a specialty item trip not my everyday grocery spot due to that. Overall, it was great to visit an Ingles and again, I was impressed with this location and if I am ever in this area or any other that features an Ingles, I can see myself popping in.
