After my basement flooded, I contacted Southern Lakes Plumbing & Heating, who recommended Phil's…read moreElectric Drain Service to fix the issue. When he arrived, I explained what was going on. Despite telling him that turning on the water caused flooding, he did so anyway, which, of course, only caused further flooding that I had to clean up myself afterwards. After about five minutes, in which he was talking out loud, clearly confused, not understanding what was going on, he told me he could not fix the issue and said that we needed a plumber. We were then told there would be a $145 service charge for coming out, but we were only informed of this service charge after "their work" was done, which lasted just five minutes and only caused further flooding. When I told him we were never informed about any service charge, they reduced the fee to $125. This will be our first and last time ever contacting Phil's Electric Drain Service, and I recommend you do the same due to their lack of expertise and extremely unethical practices that exploit those who use their services.

We had hired a company previously, and they started to excavate them walked away from the job after some issues. The day I called Samuel he was there in less than 20 minutes and agreed to get a permit to close up the yard for the winter. He was able to secure the appropriate permits to work on the completion of our entire yard with the county. Our issue wasn't just aesthetics it was primarily problems relates to significantly erosion. He put us on his list immediately in the new year and started promptly as the weather was agreeable in February/March of 2024. Samuel had very practical ideals to resolve the erosion and restore our yard to a more beautiful state than we could've imagined. He was creative and enjoyed us giving him the freedom to move forward with his ideas; yet he communicated questions, concerns and decision making every step of the way. We were pleasantly surprised to see that he was at the job site every day ensuring things were done properly and doing a significant amount of the work himself! He even surprised us with some extra design ideas with landscape and lighting ideas. He was truly always kind and upbeat. We are so entirely grateful for all of the hard work completed in such a timely manner. We thank God we found him and what he has done for us. We would recommend him to anyone wanting excellent, superior work!!
