I had called to find if they had blades for my mower. I was told they didn't have them in stock,…read morebut could have them the following day. The clerk said she couldn't give me a time for the delivery, but deliveries usually arrive between 11-1. The following day a drive to Winchester to kill time while waiting on the call. About 3 I call them only to find out that the girl I spoke to the previous day was not working. I was told that the order had not been placed and there was no explanation. Not sure if this is typical for the business, but beware that this is a possibility. Incompetence or laziness I'm not sure, but either way it's not how a business should be run.

Maxx Powersport is as incompetent as they get. Do not (even for warranty repairs!) let your…read moreequipment into their shop. And certainly do not buy from them. They do not return calls, or when you can someone, they try to have nonsensical arguements with you about why they are not doing their job. They said last Spring that it would take 4 (four!) weeks to do a minor warranty repair. I told them that I needed the equipment and could not wait that long. After having Home Depot intervene at the end of the Summer, they stated that they would put the work at the top of the list. How long have they had the equipment? Four weeks and counting! And they did additional work that they now claim did not need to be done, and without getting our authorization to do the work, want to charge us for it. And they would not deliver unless we would agree to pay. Avoid Maxx Powersport at all costs!!!!

I had received a mailer from Mark's Equipment Repair and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Kim, Mark's wife and partner and was impressed with her good manners. They scheduled a time to come and pickup my cart and make the repairs. Kim and Mark were amazing! She texted me several times during the process with updates on parts ordered and timelines. I was very impressed with Kim's knowledge and later found out that she had spent a career in the auto repair and parts business and it showed in her acumen. She was very cordial and detail oriented and communcated frequently. Mark completed the repairs and his work and attention to detail were beyond expectation. His electrical repairs were incredibly neat and tidy and right on the money! I had mentioned to Mark when he initially picked up my cart that I wish I could slide under my cart to check on things and he literally gave me a free set of wheel ramps so I could drive my cart up and slide under to make minor repairs or touch up paint under the cart body! I was blown away as I had gone to several places looking to acquire them without luck! The price of the repairs was very reasonable and the work was completed quickly and very well done which I appreciated because I wanted to get back to golfing! I would highly recommend Mark's Equipment Repair to anyone in Western Loudoun. They also work on mowers, power equipment and snow blowers! I would give them the highest of recommendations!! Like they are doing you a favor to even talk to you. I called them last August, they didn't have what I needed and they gave me Woodstock Equipment's number. I thought they were affiliated. THEY ARE NOT. Eric answered the phone. He is one the most knowledgeable and friendly people I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. I had some issue with a Kubota mower. He is the only one that could tell me what he thought the problem was. He was right both times. They had the parts I needed in stock. Eric shipped my order out the same day, for a reasonable price both times. I am now a Woodstock Equipment customer thanks to Eric.

Come on guys! If your love is being a mechanic then be one. Their commercials on TV as a family oriented atmosphere is baloney. Also, it's hard these days to find a good company that could get things done right the first time.

DO NOT USE - Negligent and Dangerous…read more We called Great Falls Septic (GFS) in May 2025 after our septic alarm went off. As first-time homeowners with a septic system, we relied on them for honest, professional help. Instead, we got deception, disrespect, and potential property damage. They came out, inspected the system, and said the pumps were fine but we needed the pit pumped and 3 float valves replaced. We were quoted $600 for the valves and $385 for the pump. We agreed and scheduled service for May 22. When the technician arrived, he unexpectedly demanded an extra $40 in cash for a hose that was supposedly needed to reach the bottom. He said the office gets angry if he doesn't collect money on every visit. We were confused and told him we already had a formal quote. He became rude and walked away mid-conversation. Without our knowledge or consent, the technician shut off both the septic pump and the alarm system--disabling the two systems that are meant to protect our home from sewage overflow. He then quietly left the property without saying a word. We only found out what had happened because the second company we hired confirmed it: * The pump was manually shut off. * The alarm was disabled. * Our system was left at risk of dangerous overflow. * No work had been done on the valves. When we called the office to report this, a woman named Debbie hung up on us. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. This wasn't a misunderstanding--it was willful negligence. GFS left our system compromised and our home at risk. We are filing a complaint with the Virginia Department of Health. If you value your home, your safety, and basic human decency, stay far away from GFS.

I called Great Falls and they were able to come out same day. The technician, Mauricio Apolinares immediately diagnosed the problem as a blockage between the tank and the house. Within a couple of hours of arriving we were back in business. Very impressed with their service.
