I was expecting to just pay for the mechanic work they'd do on it after. I learned it's good to confirm prices with mechanics beforehand because not all are transparent about their prices. I was not told at any point during the process from the time I called to make the appointment & thru the entire appointment that they were doing more of an extensive diagnostic check of multiple pages they printed out for me that was $250. I was not told about the fee until after they were done with my car. I told them I was not expecting this because I didn't ask for it & they didn't show any care or seem apologetic about it. Poor customer service & unethical business practices. I've been here multiple times, but will not be coming back. A $250 charge is a lot of money to not inform your customer of until after the fact. While the more extensive check was good, I did not need it nor did I ask for it. I would've gone somewhere else if I had known about the hefty charge.

Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. He graciously called and texted me whenever there was an update on my car and he worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of. We have found such service with USA Brake and Auto. Over the past several years, our family has relied on Mirko and his crew - knowing before we did of wearing parts and repairs. Working with them over the past years, I have come to trust when they speak of dangers. Last month I took our aging van in for an oil change, and they mentioned that the steering rods were going out, and should be looked at. I had a family vacation planned, and couldn't take it in for repair until afterwards. But took the van in as soon as I returned. They were able to quickly fit us in, and replace the parts. Today Mirko talked to us about the parts, and showed us where they were and why they needed to be replaced. I asked friends in the area who they take their vehicles to and Perfection Tire was the only place they said they trust, so that's where I had my car towed to.... on a Friday afternoon. They worked on my car on Saturday until their closing time. The problem was not something normal. Jeremy, the tech working on my car, took the time on Sunday (his day off!) to do research about what could be wrong! By noon on monday I had a call that my car was fixed!
