I guess they must have pre-made them. But they had like 4 little dollops of whipped cream around the outside. It was just weird that they couldn't serve it without it. It looked good, and I tried some of the vanilla sauce. It was tasty. All in all it was a really great time. One gentleman who spoke excellent English assisted us with proper ordering technique, and gave us a little history of the place. Schnitzel wasn't amazing but it definitely hit the spot, with some nice kölsch to wash it down. If I return to Cologne I would like to visit Stüsser's again.
