We were seated next to a window filled with bones. The lighting was cool. It felt like you were in a bar in Mexico. The menu is a mix of various Latin dishes and drinks. I went with a Brazilian drink that was so good that I ordered another. Not sure the alcohol was high but the taste with the juice was so refreshing. My dining partner tried a couple of beers and enjoyed them. For food, I went with the Argentinian steak as they were out of the pork dish I wanted to try. It was so good. Seasoned great, huge with a ton of potatoes and creamy corn to go with it. The other dish was a veggie cheese pie. Hmm, just so so. The veggies were a bit bland and it didn't have much spice level until we pored on the available sauces at the table. Prices were great too - you get a lot of food and there is a lot of choice on the menu. It took awhile for them to give us the check, we finally went up to the bar to pay. As I said, it's a nice relaxing meal and not a fast food place so be prepared to have a bit of a wait and just enjoy your surroundings.

I had the teriyaki salmon and it was some of the best salmon I've ever had. The Japanese BBQ sauce paired fantastically with the fish, and the veggies and rice were just as yummy. The fish was cooked perfectly for my taste (a little on the moister side), and the dish was actually fairly large and plenty filling. Service was great. Our waitress was super friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and spoke great English. Prices were very fair by Norwegian & Bergen standards. My meal was just over $20, the total bill for two people was around $60. If I had spent more time in Bergen I definitely would've come back to try another one of their dishes.

Since this was Norway, we also got the salmon kebab, made of chunks of Norwegian salmon with a crispy exterior. Both kebab plates came with a refreshing salad of lettuce dressed with tzatziki, red onions, cucumbers, pickled red cabbage, and grilled tomatoes. We also got a side of thick, tahini-rich hummus served with a spicy chili sauce, but my favorite item of all was the freshly-baked rounds of naan bread, which was thin and crispy with chewy edges. The bread was perfect for eating with the hummus, lentil soup, kebabs, and salad, and I couldn't help but ask for extra servings! That in and of itself should constitute ONE STAR. But, the garlic aioli substitute was actually to die for, so I'll let it slide. The burgers are fairly 'well' cooked, but it was still pretty flavorful and moist. You do get your choice of patty size. I got a medium and actually felt it was on the small side, so keep that in mind. Comes with a side "salad" which is basically a few leaves, and the fries are pretty decent as well. The onion rings, chicken wings, and fried shrimp were on par with the best I have had, and the other fried foods were decent as well. The grapes were particularly good, and the red ones had a flavor that I had never encountered before.
