Apparently they over heard me saying the I resold a bumper and now they banned me from coming in?…read moreIs this legal? If I pay them what they're asking for the parts then why does it matter what I do with them? I've done tons of business with them. Workers complained about picking up carts when that's their job to bring them inside... isn't that why you get paid. Workers are extremely lazy and rude. If you don't like your job work somewhere else?? That's the reasoning behind the ban, reselling a bumper and not bringing a cart in. No warning, nothing. Seems like they don't want anyone to benefit except them which is extremely unprofessional and selfish.

D & Sons has taken care of my vehicles ever since I moved here in 2015, from routine oil changes to…read moreweird-noise checkups to dying alternators. I always drive older cars, 200k miles or more, so things pop up and they do a good job of diagnosing the issue and resolving it. One of the things I appreciate is the communication. Rusty at D & Sons does a great job of explaining what's going on regardless of your skill level with cars. I've been to other places that either throw a bunch of jargon at you or on the flip side act like "oil leak" will go over your head. Rusty always explains things and gives the options so that I can make an informed decision about it. As a woman, there've been a number of times where I went to other mechanics and got the feeling that they were ready and waiting to take full advantage of my naivety by using jargon to justify a 500% price increase. Here, on the other hand, it feels like they go the extra mile to help me understand the issue, my options, and offer professional recommendations based on what's best for me rather than what would make them the most money. That's the reason I recommend D & Sons to all my friends in the area -- because they are trustworthy, which is priceless. At one point I thought I needed new brake pads (Google was very convincing) so went in to get them, expecting to pay about $500 or so. They took a look and told me they still had a lot of life left on them and explained the noise (if I remember correctly it was solved with a couple of nuts). Even in the rare situation where life happens and they miss something, they take good care of me - I had an alternator go out, they replaced it, then the replaced one went out too. Turns out there was a wire with a short. They fixed the wire and put in a new alternator at no extra cost to me. They don't try to upsell you, aren't pushy, but if something is important they'll let you know. Since it's getting to the point where some fixes would cost more than my car is worth just in parts, if we run into those they let me know my options and if that issue isn't a concern for safety or passing inspection and won't significantly impact anything as long as it's monitored, they'll let me know that not fixing it is also a viable option. In general, their prices are more affordable than most other places I've been or at the very least on par. Altogether, D & Sons is a place I'd recommend to anyone needing car work done.

They just kept…read morecharging me for new parts that didn't fix the original problem, and the final time they "fixed" it they not only lied to me by saying there was no longer an issue but also didn't even tighten the brake line down all the way so it was leaking fluid on top of still locking up on me periodically. They also proceeded to install parts and charge me without asking if that's what I wanted to do, which I most likely would've said yes had they just asked. Do NOT go here unless you want to spend a large sum of money to have your problem still be present as well as have new problems arise.

No potential amount. Nothing. When I called Christian Brothers they listened and documented when I told them year, make, model, engine size and mileage. They documented the details I provided about the issue that I was having with my car. They were true to their word when I was told they would text me prices after I was given the option of GM manufactured parts or aftermarket. I 100% appreciated that they sent an itemized breakdown down and the timeframe for the needed part to come in. I dropped my car off and they completed the service in the promised timeframe. The entire process was professional and smooth. They didn't suddenly discover I needed 5 million dollars of work done to my vehicle. I received a video, photos and a comprehensive break down of recommendations and why and I truly appreciate. A nice, well furnished, clean waiting area was also a plus too. Thank you Christian Brothers!
