This No Frills should be changed to Ryan's No Frills, I guess the franchise owner changed, still at the same location. This is a small store so a lot of things that's on the flyer may not be in the store. For instance one of the Jamaican patti on sale is never there, they have one brand, but only mild taste, no spicy. The veggies and fruits section is not too bad. I rarely see the $10 frozen bag meats as compared to other No Frills store. I guess will just have to buy fresh meats. Snacks section is frequently stocked, I can always get the chips flavour that I want. As for the No name frozen veggies, I can never see the diced frozen veggies, usually I only see California mix or the beans mix which I don't like, but I guess for a small store they need to limit the stocks. Sunday July 13th 2025: I had gone in and did my weekly grocery shopping as I usually do, upon checkout I had said I would like to pay with two cards, half on each, $90 gets charged to my wife's debit card and as I have my debit card in had the cashier had charged my rewards points that I've been saving for the last year. I told the cashier that I didn't want to use my points, he was very apologetic, called who I believe was the on shift manager, she was very nice and apologized for the mix up, had asked to take a picture of my receipt, Came back a minute later and said she couldn't fix the points herself but the lead manager could Monday the 14th. I come in Monday the 14th 2025 around 1:20pm, I speak with an employee to see if I could get the manager, She said she was the manager and said she couldn't do it, I was assured that it could be fixed by the head manager and she refused and said she couldn't. So I do not really recommend that this location is shopped at. TLDR: Cashier misunderstood me and I lost almost half my rewards points that I was saving up. Management refused to help me. 1/10 for the manager 4/10 for the cashiers, he made an honest mistake but the shift working on Sunday and him both assured me that it could be fixed. read more

I live very close to this store. I only go there for small items on occasion. I shop at other No Frills stores further away from this store. My reason for this is there Handicap Parking spaces. These spaces frequently when I go there have a delivery truck they are unloading from here. Some times a maintenance vehicle such as lately repainting the outside of the store. These spots are painted but not signed therefore anyone can park in these spots without being ticketed when Parking control is notified. Obviously the store is fully aware of this and do not care for handicapped seniors or they would stop unloading vans from these spots. They also block the yellow lined spot beside them for customers to walk along. Customers with rollators, walkers and canes have to step over the concrete parking barriers to the street sidewalk to enter the store. I have decided myself that now I will travel in for just milk and bread at a store further away from this store and never return to it. Thought some people who are handicapped in the neighborhood should be aware of this. "Money talks" but, seniors can't walk. read more

The perfect neighborhood store, small but you can always find things that you need. Great place to walk to when you've forgotten an item for a recipe, run out of toilet paper, or Aunt Flo(w) has unexpectedly come to visit. You need to give up 25 cents to get a shopping cart but you'll get it back when you return it. They always have some good sales running. Today they had orchids for $10, sugar $1.97/2 kg, bananas 56 cents/lb on sale. The best part is that they price match, meaning if you find a cheaper price at another store just bring in the flyer and they will sell you that item at the cheaper price. TIP - bring in multiple store flyers, have the items you want to price match already circled so it's easy to find, separate the items that you will price match from the regularly priced items you are purchasing, warn the person behind you that you will be price matching so they can choose to move to another line, lastly tell the cashier you will be price matching at the start of your check out. Some of the cashiers are nice and will chat you up but the goal here is efficiency so most of the cashiers are only concerned in getting you out quick. I just love this store. The people are kind and helpful and always there for you. They have some really good deals they have two dollar sales and the owner will bring in whatever you need. For a neighbourhood grocery store it's a diamond in the rough. I wouldn't go to any other shopping store. I get my groceries every two weeks and I make darn sure to go to this no-frills. I even have my favourite cashier who is always there to remind me but I didn't get put to help me with what I did. She has a heck of a memory on her ;-) P. S. The owner and his wife are very wonderful people they treat you like your family. You really feel like you're a part of the community when you walk in to Tom's NoFrills. read more

good prices and close to home. Dont buy much meat here as it doesnt look great but for yogurt veggies and other things its great. Just one extra, make sure you check your bill. Ive found a few times Ive been overcharged because of scanning/code errors. Almost got charged $98 for a $7 ittem. thank god I caught that. read more

worst store ive ever been to.the amount of disrepect that the owner shows his mangement discusses me. over heard a manager saying that he rately gets his lunch break and isnt paid the extra hour of work. shelves of sale items are empty often. you can tell that the store owner runs the staff by imtimading and threatening there jobs. read more

This store has improved 100% in cleanliness and product arrangement. The produce area especially has been cleaned up - no more veggies on the floor. As a Wheel-Trans user, I spoke to security and asked if he could arrange with the manager for some kind of seating while one waits for one's ride - often an hour or more. The following week there was a bench near the front door for the other-abled to sit on while awaiting their rides. (My gratitude to the security guard for passing this message on!) I personally asked to see the manager and complimented him - not only in the store's improvement in cleanliness, but especially for the seating. He stressed that he is trying to improve the customers' shopping experience and has just invested in more shelving and storage for the food. I enjoy shopping here and find the prices mostly very good - especially on a senior's budget! However, the Manager's speedy response to the seating request, really impressed me!! read more

We are disabled seniors and have always found it difficult to navigate around this store (Tom's No Frills on Victoria Park and St. Clair in Toronto ON) the aisles are so narrow [we both walk with a cane]. Anyway I purchased a 500 ml tub of 2% Neilson's cottage cheese and when my wife opened it- it was fairly full of what looked like black mold. When I returned with it to the store with the receipt the store manager (a deeply rude Pakistani fellow) said tough luck, it was No Frills Policy not to replace any purchased items from the store and no exchanges and did nothing. We live on a fixed income and this was a very big disappointment. We further complained to No Frills Customer Service but not anything yet. read more

This Christmas, as part of our initiatives in St. Bede's church (79 Westbourne Avenue, Toronto), we had a turkey drive for the Flemingdon Park Food Bank. As the money started coming in, we realized that it is more turkeys than we can handle to buy, store and transport to the food bank that needs it on a specific day. We reached out to Tom Hui, the owner of the Tom's NoFrills store at 1150 Victoria Park Ave to see if he can help us. Tom surprised is with his excitement and compassion and generosity. Here is what Tom did: * He gave us a generous discount on the turkeys so we could buy more turkeys with the money we raised * He agreed to store the turkeys for us in his facilities till the day we had to deliver them * He offered to transport the turkeys personally and deliver them to the food bank. * When we realized we had more money than the turkeys that Tom's No Frills had in store, he made calls to his contacts in the GTA, and got us more turkeys. At the same discounted price! * He got those additional turkeys to be delivered to his store and offered to absorb the cost of transportation that he was charged by his suppliers * He paid from his personal account for the turkeys till we were able to go and settle the accounts. * On the day of the delivery he joyfully delivered the turkeys to the food bank And he did all of this with great excitement, joy and commitment.
