Service man came and told me what the issue was. I chose to replace the part. He told me he did not have the part with him and had to go back to shop to see if they had it and if they had in-stock he would be back if not he would have to order. Ended up they did have in stock and he came back and replaced. He was at my house probably less than an hour with both visits. Looking at bill they charged me for 2 hours labor. I called and asked if they charged for travel time and they said no and they would check with serviceman. Called me back next day and said I got charged for 2 hours because they came back that same day so therefore they charged me for 2 service calls and I asked if they had to order part and come back another day would I have gotten charged and she said no. I told her I told serviceman he didn't have to come back that day since my furnace was working. She said she would need to check with owner and call me back. Called me back a little later and said they would charge me for an hour and a half instead of 2 hours does that work for me and I said I guess it's going to have to and told her I will never use them again and take my business elsewhere and she really didn't seem to care. I will take my business to company that isn't greedy.

So we bought auxullary ones. Then we find that the filters that we used for years are being sucked into the furnace. We now have to adapt and wedge the filters in place, and had to buy plastic framed ones to feep them in place. The new furnace was fit into the existing base, with some metal manipulation, and now there is a "wind tunnel" sound coming from the gaps. Also, when the heat turns off we have the banging of ductwork. Never had this before. If this is a result of Johns new installation, I would hate to have them come for a repair.

I then responded saying that I had a dehumidifier that I've been running 24/7 and it hasn't made a difference, and that I would like to have a service technician come out and see what the problem was with the condensation that's been accumulating on my ducting. My messages were left on read and I never heard anything back. This was on 9/8, it's now 9/18, and still haven't gotten a response. Absolutely pathetic customer service. While U.S Radon professionals gave me one of the best quotes, I initially went with the company who had originally installed the system. However when the original company never showed up or returned any of my following calls or emails, I contacted Dave to hire his company to replace the fan. The tech, Chad, came out the very next morning (even a little earlier than the appointment time) and replaced the fan in 30 minutes. Very professional guy - and also I should mention this is during the Covid 19 crisis for added context. I seriously can't recommend this company enough and will be hiring them again should I ever need it.

When they ran a scope through the lateral they found chunks of concrete in the pipe. Upon investigation they heard sloshing sounds in the radon uptake pipe, and they concluded the uptake pipe leading to the radon pump was installed into the floor directly on top of and through a lateral that leads to the waste water from my kitchen sink. The patch of concrete they used to covered the broken pipe failed and fell into the terracotta pipe blocking the wastewater and causing a backup. As a result the radon pump started to suck up soapy, kitchen sink wastewater, which was it was making sloshing sounds. The plumber I called said these radon pumps were supposed to last 10-20 year and most have a warranty, and that the installation was definitely not to code. The plumber said it's likely the water/soap/moisture caused the radon pump bearings to go bad prematurely and that was the squeaking sound we heard. I called US Radon Professionals and an automated message says the number is not taking calls at this time. The name on the sticker of the radon pipe said to call David Lovic and he has not responded to the text messages, Facebook messages, and for about a week or two the number is still not taking calls.
