Great pricing but don't be fooled. If your bag is not "up to their standards" in size requirement you'll have to pay. No food, no water, nothing unless you want to pay even more after having an "oversized" bag. My suitcase is the size of a typical suitcase and that is too big. Nice flight attendants though read more

In future travel, I would avoid flying with Ryan Air. They're fine if you don't have a problem (if you don't mind the no-frills "cattle call" style of flying) - but they're impossible to deal with if you run into an issue or need an accommodation. I mistakenly double paid for my luggage. I thought it would be an easy fix - and they'd agree to refund me for the second payment. It only seemed fair to pay once for my bag rather than twice - but the customer agent wouldn't budge and wouldn't agree to simple refund. There response was hard and unyielding "no" and "it's our policy not to refund baggage fees." They were totally rigid and unwilling to empathize with my situation. If I didn't have this issue, I would have rated Ryan "OK" - but after dealing with their inflexibility and lack of customer orientation, my advice is: Buyer beware! read more

BEWARE! Ryan Air changed my flight time and sent an email stating I could accept the new fight time (which did NOT work for my itinerary), change for free to another flight on the same day, or cancel and request a refund. I tried tirelessly to change to a similar flight that they offered. Their system would never allow me to confirm the change. When I called in, they told me it was possible to make a change, but it would cost me $800. The original tickets were $395! I asked to speak to a manager, the manager tells me that the "class" change is what caused the issue with changing the flight to what they offered me, so he would do me a "favor" and only charge $400. So, $400 for a change they forced upon me. This company has horrible customer service. Great if you purchase and use, but if you HAVE any hiccups, they will not help, they will not budge and they will make the customer pay for changes they make. Can't deny that they have good rates if you have no luggage to check, but be ready to deal with an inflexible staff. read more
I was aware of Ryanair but never had the opportunity to take them for a trip. It was generally a good experience. Checkin for flight and baggage is online; there is a surcharge if you attempt to do so at the airport. It was pretty easy and straight forward. The additional costs for a bag were more than the flight itself but considering that the flight was 10 Euros each and each way, you really can't complain. For that matter, I have no idea how they cover their costs. We flew directly to Palermo. It was a quick and easy flight. read more
