After selling the vehicle, I called and paid my Dec. bill and cancelled the policy for the car. But she claims that I never cancelled that policy and (not her words) continued to pay insurance on a non-running vehicle that I SOLD.In that SAME phone call , I requested information about a personal policy in which I would be covered when driving others vehicles. Pam Wilson informed me the policy did not cover any vehicles of those I lived with or family. I told her I would think on it and call her back. She informed me today , January 4,2016, that I DID NOT cancel the policy and we only discussed me possibly getting the other policy. This turned into attitude on both ends and ended up with me hanging up and calling corporate. Unique Insurance Company helped me to ultimately resolve the issue , this was after two more phone calls in which Pam Wilson told me that if I called again she would consider it harassment. I am a customer , you do NOT withhold information dealing with MY INSURANCE POLICY FROM ME or treat money-paying customers like that. She was beyond unprofessional , she wouldn't let me get a word in , she kept back tracking on EVERYTHING she said. When she told me the conversation was being recorded I asked her if she had recording of when I "claimed" to cancel my policy , she said no she DID NOT. And then later on went to tell me I canceled it in late November not December and I obviously did not get the form in the mail because my address wasn't switched. I switched it three months ago with the other employee at the company her husband, Ron Wilson. I know for a fact I did this because I also went to the post office and switched my residence address that day , all my bills came here with no forward but apparently that IMPORTANT document did not. I am definitely not a customer anymore and will never recommend this company. Honestly, I feel a little bit like I was trying to be scammed. Watch out for shady companies , like this one, and do your homework before picking just anyone to deal with important life matters like insurance.
