About 2 years ago, I had Southern Conn Gas install the pilot light fixture in our furnace, which was 51 years old. I mentioned that I was going to replace the furnace in the near future, he recommended David at Home Heating & Air Conditioning. I went into that website(s) & found he had several 5 star reviews on previous installations. I am very satisfied with the furnace installation, I could see that David takes pride in his work & is a perfectionist at what he does. The job went smoothly from the beginning to the end. I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend him to other customers. David Teodosio is the BEST Gloria McAndrew, Milford, Ct

Worst company ever…read more The person who handles their calls and scheduling is extremely rude and indifferent. She is the worst representative possible for a customer. No customer service. Quite the opposite. I believe she is the owner's wife. She is indifferent as best, hostile and angry at worst. She answers questions rudely. Does not return calls. Sounds exasperated ALL THE TIME. They did super shoddy work in our home. The HVAC system is not well sealed and heat and AC escape all over the place leading to inefficiency. They failed to seal the top of our ducts. There is air escaping everywhere. Returns have been placed in bad spots. The owner seems to have a bunch of right-wingers working for him who spend their day listening to far-right political commentary while they work on HVAC systems. The owner (Tim? Ted? Tom?) is an extremely poor communicator, gruff, thuggish, and spent a lot of time telling us how he manages to "get back at" difficult clients by doing substandard work that won't be immediately apparent. He bragged about this and was quite proud of his deceptive ways. Totally unprofessional company. Do. Not. Use. Run. If I could give them a zero, I would. They should go out of business for the ways they treat their customer and the sloppy work they do.

For each installation, we had about six people working at one point to get the job done. These were big jobs as old, outdated systems had to be completely replaced. The cost was fair when compared with other estimates I'd received. They have a yearly maintenance plan I suggest getting to protect the warranty and ensure that your system is operating smoothly.

We communicated via text and it was normal--he said he was looking forward to helping and would call me Monday morning. He did not miss an opportunity to comment about how I should have had it serviced over the years, which I acutely felt bad enough about already. Some technical friends tried to help me Saturday afternoon (it had stopped raining early) by replacing the capacitor. I shared that information with him. He said something strange about 'probably' calling Monday. For context: it was in the middle of a brutal heat wave, and I have 2 kids and a dog. I left a msg and texted on Monday and was . . .
