Whatever you do, do not hire this person! We hired him to do our (very straightforward) taxes for a few years and didn't find out until a few years later that he had never actually filed our returns even though he had taken payment from us for preparing/filing them. When we had another real professional go through and redo our taxes for all the years he supposedly did them, they found all kinds of exemptions he had missed and we learned that we should have received refunds for those years instead of owing money. read more

I originally reached out to Ryan at the beginning of the year, but was told it was too late for him to work on my taxes so I'd need to file an extension. After tax season I reached out again by phone and was told they could take me on and to email the details. No one ever responded to the email, so I emailed them again and they still just didn't respond. This company seems like it just isn't interested in bringing new customers on- don't waste your time waiting for them to respond because they never will. I wish they would just be honest about this instead of hooking people along, as I would have looked for someone actually willing to work with me instead of waiting until they "had time" only to be ghosted. read more

My last CPA guy was retiring and I needed to find someone new I would be compatible with. I searched online and decided to take a chance on Ryan. This was a unique tax return process as I submitted all documents virtually (scanned about 100 sheets). It was only after Ryan had completed my return that I got to meet him face to face. Though he had to do my return as an extension because of the load of work, I was impressed with how quickly he was able to process my return. And with minimal questions for me. Overall I was glad to find a new CPA that is easy to work with. I know my return is a bit complicated. I was glad to get a biggish refund. I will be back next year. read more

It was so important for me to find an accountant to build a relationship with. I started going to Ryan after reading his Yelp reviews. Not only does he do my taxes, but he helps me year-round with the occasional question I might have. I have ever changing circumstances from changing jobs, buying real estate, and filing with my wife. No matter the situation, Ryan advises. read more

Just wonderful - I have been working with Ryan and his team for a few yeas and have only good words to say. Porfessional, patient, prompt!

Can't say how good these guys are, but they didn't answer the phone, and didn't return any calls (left a voicemail). Perhaps this review will increase responsiveness for others? read more

Simply the best. Ryan and his team are extremely kind, courteous, professional, and super prompt in responding to my emails. I found them about 6 years ago when looking for a tax accountant and am so glad I did! read more

We've been working with Ryan and Alex for a few years now on our personal and small business taxes. The team here has done a fantastic job helping us sort through and revise some previous years filings that were not properly completed by our previous accountant. They are timely, professional and very understanding of our often relatively inefficient methods. They haven't hesitated to reach out directly to the state and federal IRS to resolve the various issues we've encountered. Highly recommended! read more

Listen. We are all getting hosed by the Trump tax cuts. Ugh, SALT, am I right? Nothing feels better than being taxed on the taxes that you have already paid to the state. So you need an accountant to minimize the pain. You need someone like Ryan and his team who will help you make your required contribution while helping you save for that panic room that circumstances may dictate. Ryan and his team are prompt, straightforward, and dependable. They helped us with our taxes this year and will be back in 2020. read more

Ryan has been a great CPA to work with! We walked in with a large stack of paperwork for our personal and business income and expenses, and he took great care of us! He gave me a great check list with a slew of questions to make sure that we were including all of our possible deductions. He had a pretty quick turnaround of a day or few on everything we gave him, and as he was filing for us sent me a spreadsheet so I could double check that all of our business expenses came together. He e-filed for us and gave us all the printouts, and everything arrived on our doorstep with easy instructions of where to mail checks and envelopes to send everything off. He was easy to work with, and definite Lee worth it to have everything so well organized and taken care of! read more

I'm always really impressed by how friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough Ryan and his staff are. I'm kind of messy with my business and personal record keeping, but Ryan is easy to get in touch with, really patient and makes sure I get all of my questions answered. I never feel rushed on the phone or like my questions aren't worth the effort. It's hard to find good customer service these days, let alone great customer service. Highly recommended. read more

We have been using Ryan for several years now for both persona and corp taxes. I think he does a fantastic job! I visited the 4707 N. Broadway office in early September of 2016. I did so based on the Yelp reviews. I wouldn't recommend this guy at all!!!! I told him I needed to provide my taxes to my realtor as quickly as possible because my wife & I are selling our home, he told me it could be done in a couple of weeks. I waited patiently for about a month. I then left a voice mail & sent a text but received no reply. I waited longer nothing happened. I let the holidays pass understanding that I'm not his only customer but that is no excuse for absolutely no communication what so ever! Today 1/6/2017 I visited his office to discover that very little has been done. He told me he thought he was waiting for additional information from me but he never contacted me about it. Although it is ultimately my own responsibility to take care of my taxes, I don't feel that it's my responsibility to chase him down to do a job that he wants payment for. After I expressed my frustration he didn't even offer a discount for the gross neglect, what a waste of time! read more

Ryan is absolutely terrific: I had a backlog of 2 years of returns with K-1s/etc. and he was able to quickly sort through all of the details and process all returns in record time. When the IRS followed up with nonsensical letters (they were missing forms we had already submitted, they processed the years out of order, etc.), Ryan was able to address these within an hour. Amazing!! In addition to taking care of the details of my fairly complicated set of returns, Ryan was able to identify deductions that I and all prior accountants had missed, that ultimately ended up saving me 10s of thousands. Couldn't ask for a better personal accountant. read more

Ryan is amazing! He is very calming and takes everything in stride, which is really helpful when taxes are one of the most stressful topics you undertake in a year. Ryan does my business taxes as well as personal, and he is very nice about how I always file for an extension and need help at the last minute. He is professional and courteous and easy to get a meeting with. He is well versed on topics that come up for small business owners/individuals. read more

Ryan was awesome! I needed to set up my new business and he helped me fill out all the paperwork and charged less than the quoted price. He was willing to meet after hours to accommodate my crazy work/commuting schedule. It took less than an hour for me to set up my articles of incorporation, tax ID, and S-Corp election. He was patient with all of my questions and assisted me with the next steps. I'm actually looking forward to doing my taxes next year with him. Trustworthy and efficient! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

After a many year relationship with a Tax Acct ended due to his illness, we discovered Ryan and are very, very happy we did. Our returns are fairly complicated, we were behind a year, but Ryan was able to seamlessly pick up what had been done in past years and we are now again current! We found him very knowledgeable and responsive, and are looking forward to a long term future relationship. read more

I used Ryan for the first time this year to do my 2015 taxes. I found him quite helpful and efficient. I didn't even have to take time away to go into his office for anything. Everything was handled either via email or over the phone. And any questions I had were answered promptly within 24 hrs and well explained. I definitely recommend him and will use him again. read more

Went to Ryan on a Tuesday to have him review my taxes as Turbo Tax had me owing more than previous years with comparable income and expenses. By Thursday morning I had my revised taxes in hand, ready to be mailed, with a $1,200 refund due! Ryan got the job done quickly and efficiently so my bill was very reasonable. Will definitely go back in the future! read more

I highly recommend Ryan- I've been working with him for several years and have complete trust and confidence in his work.
