I have been using TurboTax on my own for as long as I have been filing my income taxes. This past year was different with my small family becoming condominium owners... I wanted to make sure I was maximizing my return and following all the rules. Anvi was so easy to work and communicate with. It starts out with the first contact - the group set a schedule and kept the appointment. The intake call was easy to understand and I walked away with my next steps. Anvi and Shiv were absolutely wonderful in walking me through my tax situations and any info I'd need to know. They're super communicative and above board on everything. Please keep in mind that everyone's tax situation and level of help needed is different, they have you come in to understand your situation before quoting a price. Without working with them it could cause a need for worry but they're very fair, explain what they're doing and because they're not charging by the hour they actually put in time and care. I needed to have my 2015 taxes amended and my 2016 completed. Both were very complicated given my company had issued me several W2s for nonresident states I worked in during both years. My husband and I recently moved back to Chicago and needed to get our taxes done. As we needed a Saturday appointment ( we both work all week ) we needed to find an office that would be open on the weekend. I thought this would be an easy task, however trying to find an office that could accommodate our needs proved to be very difficult. I got my 2016 tax returns prepared today and it couldn't have been easier signing the forms electronically. With the new improvements SRJ Consulting has made in 2017, I was able to upload my tax documents securely on their website and when the tax returns were prepared, I was able to e-sign my returns. The back and forth of sending tax returns and having to print, manually sign, then scan or fax or mail them back for tax filing was eliminated.
