Then they started raising the price and removing services at the same time which was problematic given just how expensive some of those services are. A house call went from $500-$1500. On top of paying $6000 a year and for labs or any scans. Where I really draw the line is poor bedside manner and treating a patient who is suffering like they have somehow brought this on themselves and are at fault for needing care. I certainly understand that every doctor needs to use discernment, but having someone leave feeling just as bad as when they arrived is truly unacceptable. This is supposed to be a luxury service. That's why you are paying so much. So yes a person expects to not have to wait and to also be treated quite well. There has been an extreme decline in medical care in the last 12-15 months. This has looked like non standard of care medical treatment, long wait times even when there is only one or two other patients present and you have made an appointment. Major errors in lab orders causing delays in potential needed treatments. A refusal to make an appointment for a phone call with the medical director after several requests and several screw ups because he's busy running the whole company now. This is simply bad business and not the way to maintain long term clientele. My belief is that they are banking on not having a major competitor at the moment, but that can easily change given that their patients are wealthy and they are doing such a poor job serving them. It's really just a matter of time before another group of doctors gets together and builds a similar business model.
