Dr Lassiter is honestly amazing! I was experiencing flare up…read moreof cervical herniated disc symptoms. I had been to my PCP and Ortho on Call. I was prescribed steroids by both practitioners. once steroid course was over all symptoms returned with worst symptom being upper arm pain. I went to see Dr Lassiter after 15 days of pain. He used multiple modalities and when I left the office symptoms significantly reduced Almost gone. I cannot say enough about him!!!! He is smart, has a variety of alternative modalities, he listens, and is compassionate!

I was referred to Dr. Lassiter by a friend who works out in my gym. So I went, I think, three times (or was it four?). I'm NOT particularly a fan of chiropractic care (and neither is the friend who referred me for that matter), but I took his word for it. Dr. Lassiter is a great listener. I definitely believe he knows his stuff, and I definitely believe he stays abreast of the most current chiropractic advancements. I'd never heard of Graston technique, for example, and that was one of the treatments I got, which wasn't exactly pleasant, but I do believe it helped. While I wasn't healed in my 3-4 visits, the treatment when I was getting it did alleviate my symptoms. Dr. Lassiter is super cool, as is his assistant. I'd recommend they close the up the ceilings of the rooms, though so that the doctor-patient discussions remain private. It's a small office and you can hear everything going on.

THANK YOU VCU! A huge healthcare complex in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. Providing countless…read moremedical services to those in need. Speaking of countless, my story is only one of countless others. My story: Recently, my oldest sister (previously a nurse) and last sibling of four, suffered a massive stroke in the right hemisphere of her brain. Flown in a Life Star from a remote location eighty miles away as the Star flies to VCU. Immediately emitted to the Critical Care Center ICU. She eventually, gained from movement on her right side and very limited communication in about a week. Thou her prognosis wasn't positive, the medical care team kept hope and provided time for loved ones to visit and make peace. My daughter (also a nurse) and I were able to visit. The medical staff made sure every visitor were comfortable, informed, and able to spend as much time as needed to be with her. After about two weeks in the facility, my sister's final wish was to be home with loved ones; all with the mutual agreement with her husband and the immediate family. The Palliative Care Team assisted everyone discussing options and planning the next steps together. The Team was available as needed to answer and questions or concerns. Transferred home and under the watchful eye of family, Hospice professionals, and the Palliative Team, Barb was able to be home for a few more days. Rest In Peace dear sister (and aunt, wife, daughter, mother, grand mother, even a great-grand mother!). VCU we are all, including Nurse Barbara, forever grateful.

When I went in for an outpatient procedure they handed me a $365 bill prior to the procedure, and asked if I could make a payment. Called my insurance and they said my copay was $284. VCU said their bill was an estimate. So in a nutshell they try to get paid, beforehand, with their "guesstimate"
