Vicky is simply the best! I've been seeing Vicky since 2022, and she is by far the best acupuncturist I've ever had. Her diagnostic skills are extraordinary -- she is uncanny and precise in troubleshooting my current health condition. She also explains her treatments well, she is open to complementary modes of healing, and she respects her patients views and opinions. And while I've had a lot of experience with acupuncture, Vicky is very patient, gentle, and professional, traits that should reassure anyone interested in acupuncture treatment. But none of this, however, would really matter if the treatments didn't work. But they do work. Vicky is terrific. I've gone to see her with everything from gout flares, to flu-like symptoms, to stress-related conditions. Each time, I've come away feeling much, much better. My pain is gone, I feel more relaxed, and I get fantastic sleep. These days, I see Vicky for what I call my monthly "tune-ups." I feel great knowing that I'm being proactive with my health and well being. Finally, I can't say enjoy about Vicky's staff. I came in with crippling fibromyalgia barely able to move my hands or walk. While my dog and I were used to doing 5-6 miles a day - I had to hire a walker because my body could no longer handle it. My energy was close to null. My pain level was at an 8. A month later it feels like my pain has gone down to a 1.5/2. I have enough energy to live my life, and on day two of doing the full trail walk my pup and I used to do. I've never felt so supported and cared for than working with RVA Acupuncture. I chose this clinic based on the many 5-star reviews, but my first acupuncture experience here didn't quite meet that standard. While the initial consultation was thoughtful, the treatment itself felt rushed and impersonal -- not ideal for someone new to acupuncture. I left feeling unsure about the whole experience -- especially after getting home and finding a needle still in my leggings that hadn't been removed during the session. To their credit, the office responded quickly, apologized, and didn't charge me for the visit -- and I appreciate that. I'd just encourage first-time patients to ask plenty of questions, make sure they feel totally comfortable, and know that experiences may vary. read more

Everything from consultation to treatment is very professional. Dealt with back issues for years with no avail after PT and a few other tools in the belt I still use for things like knee strengthening, finally however Vicky showed me real lasting progress. Vicky is amazing! I am doing a treatment with her using cupping and acupuncture and in 3 visits I can tell already my body is feeling so much better. I saw Vicky for a migraine and for only the second time in my 10+ years of having migraines, I was able to recover my day. Usually the migraine hits and I just need to crawl into a dark cave, and sleep it off. This time though, I feel like she approached my migraine differently than any other practitioner I've ever seen.
