This was a fun outing. We spent two or three hours here on this hike with kids 3-6, parents, and…read moregrandparents and we all were able to walk the trail. However, it is steep and narrow in places and you do go down quite a distance to the creek and you have to ascend back to the parking lot. It might be too much if you're not sure-footed. There no bathroom facilities, (at least in April) so stop at the gas station a few miles before. The bridge itself is large and we were able to walk under it to the other side. The creek was very low while we were there. The water was very clear, you could easily see the bottom of the river bed. Since the creek was low, there was a lot of exposed river rock that the kids thoroughly enjoyed picking up and throwing into the water. They had a fantastic time and slept all the way back home in the car.

I did not know they were the same business. I went inside to protest and grab a fountain soda. The syrup was out on many of the options, which was obvious by the abandon foam cups sitting on the drink stand half full of clear carbonated water. Manager said this business places a hold on all purchases. Absurd... three miles down 70 are better options.

Until I was told that I could walk into the showers to find a dead body or into the restroom to find someone that has overdosed. Everything that I was going to talk about or ask just went out of my head and all I could think about was a dead body. I'm sorry to say that I could walk into any public restroom and find that. It should have never been in the interview at all. I have so much experience in customer service and treating everyone the way I want to be treated. It's their loss not mine.

There is a wealth of information about the area and Missouri as a whole in the giant shelving unit and the woman working the counter was very welcoming. She even had snacks and drinks laid out to take for free. I noticed the large sculpture garden/walking path (Dedicated to the Osage nation), behind the building and took a stroll around it to stretch my legs. It was a short trail and was lined with pavers of donors to the project. This was a much better place to stop than a gas station or truck stop!

When we arrived, we just had to scan the QR code and enter, then we could find a spot to park. Once we parked, a shuttle driver came around and picked us up, which was so nice! He gave us a card with our spot number/location and told us to hold onto it for our return. The shuttle driver helped to load our bags and once we are loaded up, he made a few stops to pick up other passengers then dropped us off at the terminal. Super easy! Upon our return, we walked to the shuttle pick up area and the shuttle was already there waiting for some passengers so it worked out just perfectly! A bunch of us got on the shuttle and the driver asked for our location, so I gave him the card and when we got to the lot, he brought us right over to our car and helped unload our bags. Using the Parking Spot was super easy and so efficient. I think this is my new go to lot when traveling. Getting in and out was super easy with the help of the app/QR code.
