I was shocked at the price…read morethey want for renting a simple flat deck unit ($165 day rate) plus they add mandatory damage fees which does not include full insurance, plus they told me if I park the trailer at their off hours drop off there were more fees to be added (total coming to $265). As well they were wanting $10 tie down strap. As well, their check in time was horribly long and service wasn't too friendly. I left and called u-haul in Airdrie, where they JUST had a car dolly dropped off. Their rate was $57 for the day, which included tire straps and chains. Their unit worked well and had no issues. Like another poster noted, we are no longer in boom times in Alberta, either learn to cut costs (which they could do considering they had a ton of admin staff there) or eventually go out of business.

Right from the start there was high pressure sales and promises made that were never kept. Told us that the mouse guard would protect our trailer from mice ... this is not entirely true! Had we been told the truth we would have taken steps to mouse-proof our trailer. First year we had mice! Then the warranty work! What a nightmare! Their service department is embarrassing and borderline incompetent! Door and microwave needed to be replaced and brought back three times before it was done. Then the final straw ... we brought it in (for warranty work) and told them to winterize it. They charged us $280.00 and come spring, the lines and tank had not been drained, froze and exploded. This caused a large amount of damage to the floor and trim. They tried to put it under our warranty (which wee stopped) but they did end of fixing it. We asked for a refund and they offered to give as a 50% service credit. We sold the trailer and wouldn't use Allendale RV for anything. Service Manager Sean was supposed to call us to discuss .... nothing! We paid $45,000 for the trailer from these thieves in 2023 and they offered to purchase it from us for $25,000. Sales Manger Mahzair made all these promises and then ghosted us! All we asked was for a refund on our service for the winterization and on the mouse guard as we were not told the truth. They are more interested in making a fast buck then customer loyalty or service. Still waiting of the refund on the warranty purchase ... I'm sure this was a lie as well! Anyone have any ideas on who to complain to, please let me know! We sold the trailer to another dealer for $27,000. Make sure you read the negative reviews! Stay away from this company! I'm sure the owner will read this and ignore it just like all his staff due to upset customers! Ruined our desire to ever enter the camping world. Thanks Allendale RV for nothing!

We bought a new trailer there and luckily enough we have the warranty as it turned out to have some…read morematters to address just after we purchased the unit. It has taken quite some time but luckily all that's left to fix is a part for the awning and the radio. Can't control parts from the manufacturer however so for now we will wait. To help us out for the issues, they are driving the trailer down here tomorrow. The rest is a wait-and-see situation but I'm hopeful that the rest of the work will be completed in a prompt manner, without issues, once the parts arrive. I was hoping for a bit of a better resolution with this, but it's what they have offered so at least that's something I guess.

I guess we had different opinions of "real good shape". I emailed twice before making the hour drive to go look at it to make sure there was no damage or any other issues I should know about. Both times I was told that there was nothing at all wrong. The pictures in the advertisement were conveinently on the opposite side of the dent so you couldn't see it. When I got there it was a completely different story. My advice, stay away.

Lee, our walk through tech, was very informative and helpful on any issues that came up during and he also made sure we were all set up for hauling the trailer back to BC safely. I'm not sure if all the Travelland rvs service groups are this way but I have been dealing with the…read moreAirdrie service group since January 2024 and it has been a terrible experience. 1) their service representative will not return phone calls or get back to you when the parts come in. I have to keep calling her and emailing her to find out if the parts arrived. This was not just one incident . 2) they forgot or neglect to submit warranty work to the manufacturer. I waited 2 months to confirm my warranty work was approved. I called them every 2 weeks over a 2 month period and when the service representative finally returned my call she said that they were still waiting to hear from Thor. I asked her for the reference number so I could call Thor myself and she said they don't get a reference number. I finally called Thor and found out that they hadn't even submitted the warranty request at all and if they had submitted it there would have been a PA number. When I texted Travelland and asked for the GMs number, I got a very quick response....but the GMs number was never provided. 3) the service techs are unable to complete the work within the warranty time allotment so they need to charge extra. Apparently it took the service tech 1 hour to find out where the inverter was in my motorhome so he could turn it on. This was not the flat 1 hour minimum fee as a bunch of other warranty work was being done at the same time. 4) they are quoting two hours to replace some plastic trim on the ceiling that is only held in place by 8 screws. Of course this is one hour longer than Thor warranty group will authorize...and about 1 hour and 45 minutes longer than it would actually take. Even Thor is calling Travelland trying to understand how they are inventing these numbers. 5) I suspect the issues with Travelland stems from the top as the service representative said in an email that they would not be charging more time above the warranty period if I had bought my rv from them. And I never did receive the GM is phone number.

Yesterday I had the most terrifying experience of my life!!…read moreI went to pick up my trailer for storage to bring home for the night for camping this weekend as I have done since I bought it a year ago.. everything went right but something was very wrong.. 10 Minutes down the road on a country road in Airdrie with no shoulder and all of a sudden the trailer slams down on the ground as I'm going 90 and starts bouncing back and forth only attached by one cable as the cable was sheared, the emergency brake line pulled to lock the trailer breaks and the metal was dragging on the ground shooting sparks thru the air!! All while I try to slow down my vehicle and the trailer and stop without rolling either into the ditch as the was NO shoulder to pull over! I decided to try to call Racetrack RV where I bought it a year ago to ask their suggestion as to how I can move it now before I called a tow truck.. I was frantic! The receptionist who answered said no problem I'm going to transfer you to someone who can help.. The guy on the phone said no problem where are you I'm on my way!!Keep in mind I didn't just buy it.. it was in May 2017!! But after sitting terrified on the road , in the pouring rain not able to move I see the Racetrack truck pull up and feel so relieved!! I walk back to greet him and it's the owner!!! He gets down on the ground replaces the line so I am able to unlock and drive then says " ok now let's drive it to my service lot and I'll follow so you know you're safe" The Service business lot was closed for the day so he unlocks, drives me in, takes the trailer off my vehicle and as I'm thanking him over and over I ask when it can be fixed..he says " oh you're still camping this weekend this is our first service to be completed tomorrow " Now that is Customer Service..Talk about going above and beyond!!!! I love supporting companies who truly care about people!!

I've dealt with several people in parts & service since I bought my trailer at the RV show in February 2016. The latest was Shawn and I gotta say, so far he's been great to deal with. He was very accommodating by coming in on his day off so I could pick up my unit that was in for some warranty work and accident repair. He was helpful and thoroughly explained everything that was done. He has a genuine concern that the customers he looks after are happy with the service they've been given and that they will feel comfortable coming back should they need service in the future. My trailer was cleaned and ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. They also did a few minor services, like inspect the roof and tire pressure. These little things mean a lot to a customer. I've emailed the parts department several times and always got a response in a very timely manner. I will never recommend the Racetrack business team that I had the misfortune of dealing with (Matt & Josh) but I will absolutely recommend their parts and service staff, their sales staff and Ken, the owner as people I will do business with again. As someone that runs a camping group in Calgary, I will be sure to share my experience with the over 500 members in my group :)

Bucars is top notch knowledge on Tiffins as well as Newmar. The people were incredible nice and they keep you hooked up to power even before they take you into a bay. The workers were kind to my Great Dane and even gave us tips on what to do at the Stampede that was quite useful. Such an incredibly pleasant experience. Our RV is perfect again! We will disregard the other issues I encountered alongside the way. after the doors arrived I came to pick them up..the incorrect windows were installed and they have refused to return my $750 deposit. I highly recommend not leaving a deposit or doing business with the parts department at rangeland in Calgary. Customers shouldn't have to pay for what they didn't order. I didn't take the product and they kept my money.

We rented an RV with them this summer and the experience wasn't good…read more Their hotel pickup/drop-off was more than an hour late from the scheduled time. They are severely understaffed. I know it's COVID and all but one staff member servicing 6-7 families coming off the shuttle is a joke. The RV we received was quite new and had low mileage but many things with it were falling apart, on the inside - seat panel, table, top windows, sewage cover etc. All looked good when we got the RV but, the first time we used them, it was obvious they were broken and, sometimes, got minimal attention to cover up that they were broken. The bench that turns into a bed was impossible to close. When we were shown the RV, the staff saw this and just shrugged it off. Obviously, they didn't have any time for us. The amount of storage in the RV was minimal. We're used to have a lot more cupboard space in similar RVs at other rental places and this was disappointing. We wanted to try something that wasn't a big chain like Cruise Canada but we learned our lesson and will go back to them in the future.
