I talked to the owner of Magic Touch (DWayne), and he was not willing to pay for any repairs. He told me they did a through inspection prior to my purchase, and everything checked out fine. If they had done a through inspection why were the propane lines leaking? Magic Touch is not willing to stand behind their products, and I do not believe they did any inspection on my RV. I will never do business with Magic Touch again.

Unfortunately, over time I found that replacement was improperly installed, melted the new inlet, the pigtail, and fried the wires. When taking it apart to see the cause, I found that the weather seal that came with the new unit was missing and thrown away instead, so condensation seeped in. The metallic label that comes in the packaging was left on and frayed wires were not inserted into the terminals properly, so these factors burned and melted everything. It had been many months after the repair and the evidence of the damage only just recently appeared. I tried calling several times with no reply. After sending a text, their response was that they only cover a warranty for 90 days and I would have to pay for service all over again. I would have had no way of knowing about these mistakes in the install, until the melting manifested itself on the exterior. It's very disappointing that they would not acknowledge the damage and do the right thing.

When I called at 3:40 PM to check the status, the adjuster said they were still looking at the vehicle. I explained that we needed the car back before they closed at 5 PM. At 4:27 PM, we received a call from Tom's informing us they were unable to get to our vehicle at all. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. If your insurance recommends this shop, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. The service here is terrible.

The local MB dealer could provide the service but it would be very disruptive (hotel stay with 2 cats) and costly. We found Precision Mobile which would come to us and their reviews looked great. From our first conversation with Eddie, we knew we were in good hands AND then we saw his work!! He was flexible with us on scheduling since we were parked in a safe place. His rates were extremely reasonable - much less than MB. But his service topped it all!! We highly recommend Eddie and Precision Mobile if you are in need of these types of repairs. He didn't try to sell us what we didn't need(like the dealership would) and he gave us updates on what he found as he worked along. Great service bar none.

We are full-time RVrs and this is our home. We finally were able to determine that they did not have a full-time gas mechanic on staff who could work on it. But we had to find that out through our warranty company. It sat there from mid May through July before we found out. If there had been open, honest communication, it would have gone a long way with us. We finally had to have it towed to another facility in another town.

However, Mr Dias provided a bank check that bounced. Several attempts were made to obtain the funds. Two time Mr. Dias promised that he would pay and afterwards he reneged on both occasions. As of this writing he has yet to provide restitution. Attornys have informed me that a Small Claims court will not necessarily result in getting the full amount owed since court costs will be applied and the court is unlikely to compel Mr Dias to pay for the expenses. I am certain that Mr Dias is aware of this.

We were sitting on the side of the road with no cell phone reception, trying to figure out what we were going to do, when a truck that had passed us looped back around and offered to tow us (truck and trailer) up the hill to a safe place. Not only did he haul us safely to a gas station where we could sleep for the night, he came BACK the next day to check on us and hauled our trailer one hour to our campsite while my husband had the truck looked at by a mechanic. It was on our drive to camp that I discovered this angel of a human owned an RV rental company. The owners of this business saved my family's vacation-and he refuses to accept any money in exchange. I think about he and his family often and hope that they are blessed!

We chose to have the trailer delivered to Lodgepole campground at the top of the Sequoia National Park because we don't have a car big enough to tow 26 feet and really, even if I did, I wouldn't want to go up that mountain with something that big on that crazy road. Was it a costly addition? Yup. Was it worth it? Hell yes! I would do it again! The rental itself was very reasonable considering we stayed for 6 days. It was the older four winds trailer. Not the newest kid on the block but it got the job done! It did show its age but I wasn't there to enter it into a fashion show. The trailer had nothing inside except for sheets on the main bed and a coffee maker. Bring your own stuff to fill it. Not a big deal since we usually camp and pack that stuff anyway. Would it be a nice amenity? Yes but then it would be more expensive wouldn't it? We opted to dry camp, which meant no generator. They warned us the propane tanks were full but the battery would only last about two days. Haha! Challenge accepted! Made that battery last all six days by only using the stove, fridge, washing dishes sparingly inside and only using the bathroom toilet when necessary - read here middle of night and too lazy and cold to run to camp bathroom. That is why Costco gives us giant lanterns for 19.99. Make sure your campsite can handle the right size trailer, saw more than one person crash a trailer or truck into rocks as they tried and tried to make it fit. Overall would totally use them again! Actually went with other family members who were covering my trailer and want one next year! See ya in 2020, H
