Dr. Andreas not only answered all my questions, but he also explained a lot of details of what was going on and step by step of my procedures. It was pretty cool. He also had Azra and Tina assist him and they were great as well - skilled, knowledgable, and good conversation in down time. Is this person going to be gentle or understanding about your dental needs? Will they treat you kindly? Those were some of the many questions lurking inside my head when I needed to find a new dentist. I honestly went to one just a few blocks from this office a week or two before coming here. I had my cleaning there and heard some rude comments by the dentist (not addressed to myself but to another patient). Still, that comment made me not want to go back there. Luckily, I searched around, found this place and I've been happy since! I started seeing Dr. Ahmad-Majeed in September initially for a second opinion about all the work my new/former dentist wanted to do after meeting for the first time. I explained to her my fear of going to the dentist and that if it's true that we truly do need to replace several fillings that I would appreciate it if we do it at a pace I am comfortable with. I also had a crown that supposedly needed replacing prior to coming here which she then confirmed to be correct but again, she let me choose when I would be comfortable enough to get the work done. She even offered some anxiety medication but I refused since my anxiety level is really not that unmanageable. She started doing some of the dental work that needed done from around October and finished everything by November. I know it sounds like a lot but they were 3 fillings that needed redone and a new crown. The procedures were spaced out nicely though so I didn't feel too anxious during every visit. The procedures went smoothly and Dr. Ahmad-Majeed had always made sure that I was comfortable during them and wasn't in any unbearable pain. She willingly gave me breaks when I needed them especially when she was working on my fillings. I came back today to get my 6-months cleaning and met Carolyn who is a dental hygienist at the office. She was also very friendly and kept asking me if I was doing okay throughout the cleaning process. I had one area which was sensitive and she quickly became aware of it from my wincing. She also explained why I have sensitivity issue on that area and offered some ways to alleviate the issue. Overall, I like this dental office and I've had a wonderful experience here. I know dental work can never truly be a wonderful experience but it can be made better by the attitude of the people doing the work. In this case, it's very true for me!

I haven't seen this doctor since moving to Chicago almost a decade ago and he still spent 10 minutes on the phone with me explaining the information to pass along to my current dentist and advising me on what needs to be corrected. I've almost always been able to make appointments within my time frames and if they dont have any appts, they will call you if someone cancels to get you in! They also call to see if you want to come in earlier for your appts if they are moving fast or have cancellations that day. I love that!! This is no fancy chandeliered, trendy office, but its nice, clean and comfortable. Best part: they dont hassle and pester you for extra services. He doesnt put on the salesman hat of so many dental practices today. I also have tons of old dental work and over the past 25 yrs, other dentists have tried relentlessly to get me to remove old molar fillings and replace for no reason other than the "look". I never felt this pressure from Dr. D. He asked me if any were painful or bothering me, explained that if I wanted to get them replaced someday i could, and moved on. He is quick and matter of fact, yet is caring and answers questions graciously. He also sometimes answers the phone when you call! The hygienists here are professional and thorough. I really appreciated the receptionist they had for years, she was welcoming and funny, but the person in that seat last time was... definitely not that..lol. well, only time will tell...

Webster Dental Care (WDC) has been around for long time and it definitely shows. Upon entering the…read morewaiting room the aroma strikes ones nose of old dirty carpet needing to be replaced. The walls are covered in wood paneling and the speakers on the wall are blown out playing terrible crackly indistinguishable Americana tunes. The fish tank is rather large, awkwardly placed and contains only a few less than spectacular fish. The staff at Webster Dental Care is wonderful. Absolutely Exceptional!! Everyone brings a positive attitude including the welcoming receptionist, x-ray technician, dental hygienist and even the Dentist. I've never felt more at ease during a dental appointment. I highly recommend Webster Dental Care if you're looking for a new Dentist even through the waiting room is a disorganized dump.
