Upon arriving, the receptionists greeted me warmly and the office was clean and welcoming. (Parking is limited to a tiny lot or street parking, which I did not like, but there's not much they can do about that.) The technician who took me back for x-rays (Keya?) was INCREDIBLY nice to me which I really appreciated. I was very nervous and she was calm, gentle, and helped to make me feel more comfortable. I was so grateful for her. Then, the highlight of the entire visit: I met Dr. Margaree Lachowiez. I cannot recommend Dr. L enough. She made me feel incredibly safe in an environment that usually causes me a lot of anxiety. She is kind, knowledgeable, and charming. Beyond that, she really takes pride in her work and takes the time to do it right. After the dentist I'd seen all my life retired, I had a difficult time finding someone to replace him. I'm happy to say that now I have. Dr. Lachowiez will be my dentist from now on. Dental work is expensive, but they go over the entire breakdown of costs with you so there are no surprises. Everyone I met there was friendly and welcoming. I wish I could remember everyone's name, but I honestly have nothing negative to say about anyone there. The one mark against them: My husband had an appointment with Dr. L. and went in only to discover she is now at their other office, Ballwin Modern Dentistry (also a nice office). He said the dentist he saw instead was good, but was disappointed in the surprise switch up. Better communication in this matter would have been appreciated.

The walls are covered in wood paneling and the speakers on the wall are blown out playing terrible crackly indistinguishable Americana tunes. The fish tank is rather large, awkwardly placed and contains only a few less than spectacular fish. The staff at Webster Dental Care is wonderful. Absolutely Exceptional!! Everyone brings a positive attitude including the welcoming receptionist, x-ray technician, dental hygienist and even the Dentist. I've never felt more at ease during a dental appointment. I highly recommend Webster Dental Care if you're looking for a new Dentist even through the waiting room is a disorganized dump.

After posting my review, I received several calls from Eureka Dental Group. First was from the…read morePatient Account Specialist and she did help explain the new charges but was still unwilling to give me an appointment until I gave them a "reservation fee" of $120. She said my crown was there but I could not get it until I paid her for a reservation. While I did have the money, I was unwilling to pay to make an appointment. I think their policy of paying to make an appointment is ridiculous and unheard of. There are simply way too many dentists in Eureka to have to abide by such a draconian policy. The second call I received was from the Office Manager, and she did seem to care about my frustrations and did agree to a payment plan to address the additional (hidden/uninformed) charges. She also lowered the reservation fee from $120 to $100. She explained the reservation fee would be applied towards my procedure; that they employ this concept on longer procedures to help ensure patients show up for their appointments. Although I emphatically disagree with the reservation fee concept, I did pay it (crown hostage fee) so I could make an appointment. Personally, I think Eureka Dental Group should adopt a no-show policy in line with other doctors that charge a no-show fee rather than charging a reservation fee. A couple of days later I received a call from Dr. Wehrmeister. He indicated it was his day off and he was calling because his Office Manager had informed him of my concerns and he wanted to try an address them. Dr. Wehrmeister seemed to genuinely care about my issues with Eureka Dental Group and I was impressed he took the time to call me on his day off to talk thru my recent experiences. After about a 20-minute conversation I felt comfortable Eureka Dental Group valued me as a patient and cared for my satisfaction, despite their unwillingness to concede the reservation fee policy. I went on about my day and received a second call from Dr. Wehrmeister about 15-minutes following our previous conversation. To my surprise, Dr. Wehrmeister said he talked with his Office Manager and they felt the fair thing to do was to pick-up my out of pocket increase that was not communicated to me until after the fact. This was one of my biggest concerns/complaints and I feel they have adequately addressed this concern. Likewise, I am changing my review from 1-star to 4-stars and will give EDG another opportunity to retain my business. Thank you, Dr. Wehrmeister and Eureka Dental Group Team!!
