Finding a new dentist is hard. Finding the right dentist is even more of a challenge. Who will you…read moretrust with your teeth? Is this person going to be gentle or understanding about your dental needs? Will they treat you kindly? Those were some of the many questions lurking inside my head when I needed to find a new dentist. I honestly went to one just a few blocks from this office a week or two before coming here. I had my cleaning there and heard some rude comments by the dentist (not addressed to myself but to another patient). Still, that comment made me not want to go back there. Luckily, I searched around, found this place and I've been happy since! I started seeing Dr. Ahmad-Majeed in September initially for a second opinion about all the work my new/former dentist wanted to do after meeting for the first time. I explained to her my fear of going to the dentist and that if it's true that we truly do need to replace several fillings that I would appreciate it if we do it at a pace I am comfortable with. I also had a crown that supposedly needed replacing prior to coming here which she then confirmed to be correct but again, she let me choose when I would be comfortable enough to get the work done. She even offered some anxiety medication but I refused since my anxiety level is really not that unmanageable. She started doing some of the dental work that needed done from around October and finished everything by November. I know it sounds like a lot but they were 3 fillings that needed redone and a new crown. The procedures were spaced out nicely though so I didn't feel too anxious during every visit. The procedures went smoothly and Dr. Ahmad-Majeed had always made sure that I was comfortable during them and wasn't in any unbearable pain. She willingly gave me breaks when I needed them especially when she was working on my fillings. I came back today to get my 6-months cleaning and met Carolyn who is a dental hygienist at the office. She was also very friendly and kept asking me if I was doing okay throughout the cleaning process. I had one area which was sensitive and she quickly became aware of it from my wincing. She also explained why I have sensitivity issue on that area and offered some ways to alleviate the issue. Overall, I like this dental office and I've had a wonderful experience here. I know dental work can never truly be a wonderful experience but it can be made better by the attitude of the people doing the work. In this case, it's very true for me!

The office is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I felt immediately at ease. Dr. Ahmad has since filled two cavities for me. I was very nervous after a difficult root canal experience in my previous city, but she was friendly, kind, and patient. The experience was surprisingly quick and I feel great. I would recommend this practice to others.

I don't usually do this but I'm extremely disappointed and hurt. I didn't want anyone to go through…read morethe same situation I did. This is my experience I had to go through with this place.... The hygienist is excellent, although I highly would NOT RECOMMEND this dentistry for anything other than simple cleanings. This place is very costly and the doctors don't know what they're doing or they don't care. The doctor rushed through my fill in, drilling most of my healthy tooth away, leaving me in pain worst then before I got a fill in. A week later i had to come back for the same problem, instead of observing it he went in and drilled more of my tooth away. Saying it was my bite, the problem is it's very sensitive I can't chew or eat anything on that tooth. The procedure he performed didn't fixed the problem but made it worst instead. I ONLY know this because I got a second opinion from a different dentistry. Now I have to find a different dentistry to fix the same problem when this doctor couldn't do it right the first time, nor the second. I have had countless fill in but none have ever been this bad. I should have trusted my instincts when I had a chance to leave. ONLY come here if you're prepared for a headache.

My wife and I were both overcharged with mine being $220.00 over and my wife was being overcharged by over $700.00 which is a 120% overcharge. Then when we were told by the office billing dept that it takes 2 to 3 months to receive a refund for our overpayment even though they have already received payment from our insurance company. So they now hold our money for a period of time and draw interest while we are waiting for our refund. We also requested a pre-determination be done on her claim and was told they had done that but after consulting with the insurance, we found out it was that it was never done. So this office is either completely incompetent or just flat out dishonest.

I went in in February and got the fillings for all three cavities. Within a week One of the fillings fell out the following week. I had to go back and get the second filling redone. The pain that I was feeling after the first feeling was replaced after falling out was still hurting, and the dentist told me that it may take a few weeks as my teeth may be sensitive. While at that visit, I pointed out that there was extra epoxy from the fillings around the bottom of my teeth, and in between my teeth, preventing me to floss. She cleaned up the extra at that appointment. A week or two went by and I reached back out to the dentist office, letting them know that I was still in pain from the first filling that had to be replaced. They referred me to an endodontist and I went in for a consultation and had a root canal. The pain continued after the root canal so I went to a new dentist and we found out that there have been a crack in the tooth this whole time. I then had to have the tooth extracted and now I am working towards getting an implant to replace the tooth that the dentist cracked from the First filling that she had done the replacement on that fell out in early February. I am at the point of getting a lawyer as I am almost $4000 into this process.
