Being a Sheetz "My Card" holder, I headed to this store for gas. I was 30 ft. away from the pump when the car just stopped. Could not restart or shift into Neutral to push to the pump island. A Sheetz employee named Jacob came out to help me. He spent at least 10 minutes trying to help me by googling the procedure to get the vehicle into the Neutral position to no avail. I finally decided to purchase a small gas can and a gallon of gas. Jacob assisted me with getting the gas into the tank. The car started and I filled it up at the pump. Spending my whole career in Customer Service, I was very impressed by the manner in which Jacob handled himself. He was very polite, patient and professional. We have found there is one employee in particular who is very rude giving you your food every time. Have been served raw chicken before and had to go back, no rhyme or reason how many potato wedges they put in the box. Sometimes can't park because people use their customer parking spaces for other things. Every parking stall in front and on sides taken up so I assumed it would be busy, walked in and ONLY ONE other customer in the store. They need to enforce their NO PARKING AND NO SMOKING BETTER. One four loco. Today, we go in, as usual, and my husband is making his coffee and the assistant manager, Allisa/Alisa walks up, in between my husband and I... And starts accusing me of stealing sunglasses the morning before. Well, that's crazy- because I do not steal, AND I walked IN THE STORE WITH SAID SUNGLASSES ON MY FACE. So the assistant manager walks up and she says to my husband, "hey, weren't you here yesterday buying a Coors beer at like 11?!" And we said, "yeah, we were here around that time- but it was a four Loko" and she looks at me and says, "yeah and you were with him and you stole sunglasses, I know, I watched you!" And me being me, I KNOW I don't steal. So I wrote down, both my husband's and my information, and said , "CHECK AGAIN!" At that point she still says, in front of other customers, "I saw you take them".. so, we left without purchasing anything. I called up there after I left, because I was still mad that I got accused of something I, one- wouldn't do. And 2- the fact she did it so confidently in front of several other customers. I called there after I got home and asked when the manager would be in next, as to which the same girl responded rudely, "YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH THE ASSISTANT MANAGER". So I said, you need to check your cameras again, that was so uncalled for. She calls me back a few minutes later. "I just wanted to say I apologize"... But then she kept on with, "YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WE HAVE A LOT OF THEFT HERE!" No, all I understand from the situation is you had 2 mins to assume watching a camera I stole sunglasses, you didn't put one minute into looking at the outside camera, that I walked in with my own sunglasses. She had me shaking- because I was so mad. Who accuses a regular shopper of stealing, not just accusations, she made everyone in there, but me- because I knew I didn't do anything wrong, believe that I was a shoplifter. I've never been more embarrassed. The apology call means absolutely NOTHING. IF YOU'RE GOING TO ACCUSE A REGULAR SHOPPER OF STEALING, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. We will never shop there again. And the way she tried to brush off me being upset that I was accused of stealing in front of people, is unexcusable. There's homeless people around there, I'm sure they do steal to get what they need. But my husband and I are fine, financially, and that accusation was JUST crazy. I worked at Sheetz, we don't accuse people without looking hard and knowing. She did no looking otherwise she would've JUST checked the outside camera. I came in with my own sunglasses, only touched the outside of the ice cream window, to read prices, because I didn't have my glasses. And the only thing I touched after that was straws. A glass door. And straws. And I get accused of stealing sunglasses. Wow.
