I did not care for the Neurologist, Michelle Offner. I have Parkinson's and she came in and looked at me with her assistant and walked back out the door, and I could hear them talking about me saying "she doesn't look sick". I got up and walked out. And it's not only me other people have had bad experiences with her! Please get a new Neurologist ! But the doctors and the nurses are amazing. However, the front desk is always chaotic. Somebody needs to be in charge up there.!

She told me my MRI was denied by my insurance, but I was a little confused why. After work I called her back to get some clarification. I said, "Hi there, Im a teacher and my school was a little chaotic when we spoke on the phone earlier, I was hoping you could please clarify some things for me about the MRI". And she said in the rudest tone, "We spoke earlier at length about this, what could I possibly explain to you." It was so incredibly rude. I have been trying to get answers about my pain for the past 4 months. I began to cry on the phone because I was so overwhelmed with this whole process and I could not believe the rudeness I was experiencing from her. She also called the doctor by her first name and I wasnt familiar with her first name, when I asked for clarification she said, "Don't you remember seeing your doctor last week?" ...She should not be working in a customer service position and I seriously hope Vero Ortho reads this and addresses it because that was so ridiculous I don't even want to go back.

Here is a supreme example of how kids today who want to become doctors don't become doctors because…read moreof the feel of it as being a calling. They do it as just another business they can own and operate. I am my parents caretaker and have been bringing them to this podiatrist for about three years with no problems. Each year my dad, 88, gets a free pair of shoes that is covered by Medicare due to his diabetes. This year the office hands him his pair of shoes and we thanked them. Three months later we get a bill in the mail for $150. My dad never spent $150 for a pair of shoes in his life. I called the office and mentioned that we said we'd take the shoes only if they were covered like last time and they said no problem. I told them the box was never opened and we will be glad to return them as we cannot afford them and they said they need the balance in full. This dragged on for over six months. Then both of my folks had an appointment as their feet were in bad shape. I called the office the day before inquiring about the bill and if there is still a problem. The girl said to come down for the appointment and not to worry about it, she will look into it. When I finally transported my mom in her wheelchair into their waiting room and dad sitting close by, this incredibly nasty and bully like woman emerges from behind the counter and demanded the $150 and the so called doctor CANNOT see them until it is paid! I asked her if we can speak alone. I told her I called the day before and she said that girl wasn't in and she made a mistake. You shouldn't be here unless the $150 is paid and was literally throwing us all out into the the street. Nicholas Rutledge came out to see what all the fuss was about and said that he is trying to run a business here. I asked him what happened to the doctors office! He said he will see my mom that day but NOT my dad because the bill was my dads. Would you believe? This guy is nothing more than a glorified shoe salesman. Stay away!

Customers sometimes wait as much as an hour to be seen. When someone asks how much longer, I've heard her say more than once "why, do you have to be somewhere?" No sign of an "I'm sorry for the delay" or "we're running behind". She obviously thinks everyone is retired with no where else to go, or that no one's time is as important. She needs a reality check & frankly a new line of work that doesn't involve people.

The lady at the counter seemed like she didn't care when I asked when would I be seen after I waited 30 minutes. So after 45 minutes I asked for my co pay back and left. Obviously their time is more important than my time. Stay away unless you've got time on your hands to sit there waiting long after your appointment time.

Really??? I didn't bother to call them back as I saw a different doctor on 1/15/20, and got an appointment on 1st phone call. Then, today, 2/2/21, which is 3 1/2 weeks after I had tried to get an appointment with Dr. Paradoa, I answered a phone call from her office. The person on the phone said they wanted to schedule me an appointment based on my voice mail contacting them. I said, "Really??? 3 1/2 weeks after I originally tried to get an appointment? No thank you. I am not interested in having a doctor, no matter how good her credentials, that you can't actually get in to see in an emergency, much less for a routine appointment. I found someone else, thank you very much." I also spoke to someone last week who actually has used her. She stated that she doesn't even get to see her when she makes an appointment and that she is pushed off on an associate. I am so glad I didn't ever schedule an an appointment with her. Is this a scheduling coordinator problem? Is this how she operates her practice? Does she know this is what is going on? I don't know, but beware. I am in the medical field and we have never treated potential or existing patients this way.
