    Me and my Motorcycle!

I'm not the one to usually do a YELP review but these guys honestly deserved it. These guys are like family if you're respectful and honest with them they will do the same. They will cut to the chase and will make sure that your bike is in perfect fit. I am a new rider and these guys will give you many advice if your a new rider, which I enjoyed. These guys don't care about money as far as I know, they care about your safety more and how maintained your bike is. I highly recommend coming to this shop!

ZERO STARS is my actual rating. DO NOT BRING YOUR BIKE HERE. Awful place; worse people. Called in yesterday to see when I could bring my MC in for service. Guy on the phone said, "Bring it in the morning; we open at 9am." I did. No one was there. Called, emailed, jumped on SM. Nothing. Finally someone rolls up at 10:20am. After asking me what was wrong & my telling him, he goes, "We open at 10." I told him he should change the Hours of Operation signs on the front doors of the building, one reading 8am-5pm & another stating 9am-5pm. Online & here in says they open at 9am. Told him what the guy over the phone said, too. Now with an attitude, he's late to work now - just so we're clear - he responds with, "Well, I'm the one who answers the phone & I never said that shit." Rather than apologize for whatever miscommunication, he decided to insinuate I'm lying. I immediately put my helmet on & left. This is my 2nd issue with Ruthless Cycles & they do not deserve anyone's business. Wouldn't let them wash my bike for free. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY BY GOING ANYWHERE ELSE.

I bought a 1999 Vmax from someone that bought it at auction. I took it in for service. They did a terrific job. They fixed all the wiring, replaced the clutch and more. I couldn't be more satisfied. Great work, fast friendly service and very fair prices. I highly recommend this shop! This is my first choice in the valley for mc service

"I was just putting in air, and I think I #@$&ed up the stem valve." "Might be a quick fix." Dude tries to tighten valve stem center. "Sorry, no good, has to be changed." "How fast, how much?" "Right now if you want, twenty minutes, $30.00." "Awesome!"

TLDR; Family run business that actually cares about their customers…read more When I first stepped into the Vespa Los Angeles showroom, I felt so intimidated. I've never ridden a motorcycle or a Vespa in my life, but always wanted a Vespa. To be completely transparent, I was half expecting the staff to be a bit pretentious and/or stand offish because I may not typically fit into the motorized biking appearance. Boy was I wrong. I was greeted with such open arms the minute I stepped through those front doors. The man who showed me around and answered all the questions I had was so nice and knowledgeable--I came to find out he was Kenny (the store owner)! He was so friendly and warm, which, given my tentativeness, was very much appreciated. He was honest with me when I initially inquired about a model that may have been a bit too much for me. This was not based on my smaller stature or an assumption that I wouldn't be able to handle it, rather, it was only after he heard my reasons as to why I wanted the bigger bike (he asked some fairly direct questions). It made a lot of sense to me that this was not the appropriate bike for me as he walked me through the pros and cons of a more powerful bike (which also cost a lot more), based on my needs, and made me realize that a 150cc was perfect for me. After this eye-opening discussion with Kenny, I was better equipped to make a decision when I was ready to get a bike. During my interactions with Kenny, not once did I feel pressured into buying anything. Kenny truly made me feel comfortable and it became quite apparent that he was passionate about these bikes, regardless of whether I was going to buy one or not; all he wanted to do was make sure I understood what they were all about and that I had all of my questions answered. I was about to leave the store fully stocked with knowledge and freshly invigorated for a future potential purchase, but then something happened...as fate would have it, the cutest Robin's egg blue 150cc Primavera bike happened to roll in, at that exact moment, preparing for its showroom debut. I knew right then and there - that was my Vespa! I immediately put a down payment on that bike because I couldn't stand the idea that it may not be there if I came back another time! I am so glad I did, because it has been so much fun and I'm still in love with it after 3 years! Kenny and his family (Meghan and Lexie) run this shop and they are all so down to Earth, it's very refreshing. They really care about their customers and share the same passion for these bikes as Kenny does. They go above and beyond to build a positive, fun Vespa community. Kenny also established the LA Vespa Club where Vespa enthusiasts meet up and ride as a group through some really fun canyon roads to fun picnic destinations. I've met so many nice people through this club which also helped me gain more seat time and made me a more confident rider. Thanks to Kenny and his family, I truly feel like I'm part of the Vespa community and I'm so grateful I walked into their shop on that fateful day where I wanted to "just look" at Vespas.

Javier offered me water and is very personable. He wiped my bike down multiple times to clean off the oil and brake fluid. He did a final inspection to make sure no residue was left on any surface, rode the bike to test it out, and thanked me for my business. I couldn't replace my own oil on my Rebel 500 because of a damaged oil drain plug. Took the bike to RevXotic Motorsports and met Javier. He showed me the right socket necessary to take the plug off. I didn't know different shaped sockets existed. While changing the oil he adjusted my chain. He verified my concern that motor oil should be changed at least once a year to remove contaminants. He also added that brake fluid should be changed out once a year but did not solicit a brake fluid change/flush. I went ahead and did a brake fluid change and was glad I did because the front brake fluid was hardening. Javier treated me like a friend and my bike was all that mattered in the shop. Thank you Javier for answering my questions and concerns with patience and thoroughness. Although I have little experience visiting bike shops I am convinced my service was reasonable and competitive. I would definitely visit RevXotic for my next service.
