Which I really appreciate and that's why I went to her. I felt like the initial visit was more expensive than it should be. But when you're in pain you go to whoever will see you. And it's great that she could see me. Problem is, is my neck has not improved at all. She said it was just muscle pain from it being out of place and it should resolve itself soon. But I'm someone who used to have regular chiropractic Care. I've been to chiropractors who will fix it immediately and there's immediate release. So I'm not happy that I paid $155 and I still have a stiff neck that I can't turn. She seemed nice enough. But I did not vibe with her I did feel pretty uncomfortable around her from the moment I met her. At times I felt her questioning was inappropriate, almost like she didn't believe me when. I was talking about a back injury and I'm getting physical therapy for. She at one point wanted to see my x-rays,like I carry those things around. At one point it seemed like she was going to deny me treatment, if she couldn't see that my back injury was healed. But I would have put all of that aside, if my neck had been completely adjusted, you know that crack that gives you instant release and relief.

I thought Kim was a skilled practitioner and I really loved my first treatment. However,…read morefor the 2nd & 3rd treatments, I had a very different experience. I felt she spent hardly any time with me, didn't read my pulses, put needles in, left then didn't come back for 20-25 mins when she had me turn over and put more needles in, then left again, with no questions of follow-up how I was doing, etc. She did do some short moxibustion treatment for 6 minutes at the end of the treatment. I think she can be a skilled acupuncturist, but for myself, I would prefer to have my practitioners be people who express more care and are more present with the treatment. If she was as consistent in her care for the other treatments as she was for the first one, I would leave a 5-star review. The last treatment was so deficient, that I left feeling pretty bad. I would rather spend my money on practitioners who sincerely work with more care about their patients.

Nestled in a quiet (well, it was that day) neighborhood, Laura's office is actually her home. Her home is exudes peace and tranquility. It really was a lovely welcome to soothe my fears. Laura greeted us and made us feel at peace right from the start. She reviewed a general health checklist and provided great information on some of my health concerns. She also gave me helpful tips on diet based on a quick examination of my pulse and a quick look at my tongue. Amazing! As I laid down and tried to calm the nerves, she began playing soothing music and covered my eyes with a lavender scented towel. Divine! She then quickly went to work, placing needles in areas that would move my chi and help relieve some health concerns. I felt a warming sensation and energy flow to the areas where the needles were placed. It felt very strange, yet amazing at the same time. I had been suffering from a chronic headache and stress build up in my shoulders. After the session, the tension had disappeared and I felt a boost of energy. To make a long story short, Laura is amazing! She really takes the time to listen and make you feel at ease. Being from Oahu, I won't be able to make another appointment with her. However, she gave me a referral. Looking forward to another session! Thank you, Laura!
