My kid is in the 1 year plus room, and the teacher there, Esmeralda, is wonderful! They do a great job of interacting with the kids all day long. The kids come home exhausted!!!!!!! The kids run around destroying it all, and the teachers run behind cleaning up what they can. They feed them breakfast around 9am, then lunch at 12, and a snack in the later afternoon, but you can pack more in their bags and if the teacher sees them hangry, they will give them the snack. They change their diapers every 2 hours no matter what, and more often if they get a whiff haha! The teachers really care. The teachers do as many activities with them as possible, from coloring to painting, and even going outside on their enclosed playground. The combination of small class sizes, individual attention, and the quality of the math and reading curriculum made the decision easy. She left extremely well prepared academically, which was exactly what we hoped for. Our younger daughter is entering Pre-K4 this year, and we're very happy to continue with the school. The Montessori approach and strong curriculum are major advantages, but the consistency of the staff is equally important to us. Teacher turnover is very low, and the staff are experienced educators who focus on learning and development rather than simply providing daycare. I also appreciate that the school continues to add experiences for the kids beyond academics. Dance classes and the annual recital have been great, and this year they added an aquarium field trip as well. It's rare to have the perspective of experiencing a school both as a student and, years later, as a parent. He asked us each morning, "Am I going to school today?" While I know he missed his friends, it was not them he spoke about when he talked about missing school, he talked about his teachers and wanting to see them. He couldn't wait to show them something he made or a toy he loved. Not his friends but his teachers. That speaks volumes to me about the environment you have all so lovingly curated. During our time at home he had no problem sitting at the table and doing his "homework." He never fought me when I asked him to complete academic work. This is because of the curiosity instilled in him and the structure of learning that he experienced each day before we were on lockdown. As an educator I fully understand the correlation between teacher relationships and student achievement. When a student feels safe and cared for, they are able to learn. I know that the foundation you all have set for my son will ensure his success throughout his school years.

They are easily reached, all information timely posted, as well as pictures and updates of her day. Further, the activities, projects, etc. that they do with the kids even start in the toddler room. Just today, I received a picture of my daughter (18 months) sitting for circle time. Amazing!
