It is awesome to watch all of the activities and lessons the kids engage on throughout the day. With the pandemic, the school has been extremely cautious and following all of the state guidelines and hygiene protocols. My husband and I feel completely comfortable sending our son knowing the school is as prepared as they are. They are always ready and eager to answer questions and give you a progress report on your kid. One thing i like about Bell's that sets them apart from other day care is they use an outside vendor for lunch orders and you can send your own milk, diapers and water. This gives additional flexibility to choose the food you want your kids to have and milk, water, diapers as per your preference. This is an important thing for me as we have dietary restrictions and ability to choose what your kids use and consume is important to me. There was so much disorganization. The owner monitors the comments of parents on private Facebook groups and is retaliatory towards them when they post anything critical. You will see this on their responses to critical reviews online as well. She sent out weekly emails reprimanding all parents for the actions of a few. I paid for an extra hour of care each day and came on time, often earlier than I needed to, but I still received these emails reprimanding everyone in the class. There was noticeable staff turnover, including two directors within one year. One departing director communicated to parents via email that the work environment was challenging, which understandably raised concerns among families. Some teachers appeared inexperienced and were frequently on their phones during pickup times, often requiring me to get their attention. While the teachers were kind to my child and did a good job teaching him, this was concerning. Information shared in the app was occasionally inaccurate (for example, meals reported as fully eaten when food was returned mostly untouched). The daycare itself is very small and lacks enough of a large open play space which is concerning, especially in the winter time. Parents were not allowed to enter classrooms to drop off or pick up their children. A friend of mine in town shared with me that her twin girls were coming home with bite marks on them and the owner denied that anyone was biting them and refused to allow them to look at the camera to see what happened. The communication style and leadership environment significantly impacted our comfort level as parents and ultimately led to our decision to leave. I am sharing this review to provide honest, respectful feedback based on our experience. I have noticed that some critical reviews appear to have been removed in the past. My intention is not to discourage others, but to offer transparency and encourage continued improvement.

This is a place where kids spend 8-9 hours daily and it is very important the environment is clean and dirt free to ensure they do not fall sick. I have never had my child with a dirty/runny nose as the teachers have always been kind enough to clean them so that when i pick them up in the evening they are still like they were in the morning. My daughter hardly fell sick while she was there. The teachers are extremely patient and tolerant and even though she took her time to be potty trained they never showed attitude when they had to clean her. Every year she had wonderful teachers who genuinely love the children and not just a show of. Academically they are very focused and if a child needs to be challenged because they may be ahead to behind the class they are done without questions. In addition to academics the extra curricular activities like Champ Fusion, Jujitshu, Dance all being in one places saved me the effort of driving her around as i did have another child to cater to. The Winter Shows, Monday Day, Pumpkin picking even the Photographs that were taken professionally have all only added to our wonderful experience and i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this daycare to everyone i meet. He is lead by teachers with passion and I never have a doubt in my mind that he is protected. The school is consistent with its curriculum and rules while having an open door policy. I can drop in at any time unannounced if I want to! Here children are constantly engaged in play that teaches them their colors, numbers, vocabulary, as well as belonging, sharing, and leadership. Call me old fashioned but I believe that children learn best by getting up and DOING. I am happy to report that Rhymes and Reasons enriches its students with the same philosophy - there are no TVs there but there IS fresh air, toys, finger paint, and friendship! The school is pricey but when it comes to your children you get what you pay for and I am happy to invest in my son. When looking for a daycare I used Baby Center's guide to a good daycare. R&R meets every mark. Here is a break down: 1. A good daycare center should have a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and be known for its nurturing environment. R&R has 5 star reviews everywhere and Mrs. Marisa has lots of letters from parents talking about how much they love the school. CHECK! 2. A good daycare should have clearly established regulations for everything from operating hours to how to handle emergencies. The center should be able to supply you with a written copy of its policies. That way you know it takes its responsibility -- your baby -- seriously. If the center neither has an open-door policy nor encourages parents to stop by unannounced, chances are it has something to hide. Keep looking. A great daycare center will go beyond merely letting you in and invite you to become part of the center's community by helping with activities, accompanying the children on field trips, and so on. R&R gives all parents a handbook every year of all of it's rules. They don't bend the rules for anybody, making me feel confident that they are safe and well regulated while encouraging openness at all times. CHECK! 3. The best daycare centers have structured schedules that include plenty of time for physical activity, quiet time (including daily reading sessions for groups and individuals), group programs, individual activities, meals, snacks, and free time. As I've said before in this review they have a set schedule similar to a kindergarten that gives the children plenty of time to learn, play, rest, and get a well rounded head start for school. CHECK! 4. A trained, qualified staff - R&R's staff is CPR certified, keeps proper child to teacher ratios, and the staff interacts with the children with total positivism. The caregivers are responsible, enthusiastic, and well prepared. They also ask detailed questions about your child's health and care to help determine they right care for your child. CHECK! 5. Clean and safe facilities - The center is clean and sanitary. Floors, walks, walls, and all. The building is adequately heated, lit, and ventilated. Staff washes their and the children's hands regularly singing a hand washing song and after every diaper change. CHECK! I really wish we didn't have to leave but every child grows up and I'm glad that he did it in one of the best places we could find.
